We just happen to be in the same show, we are not a couple in the show," is how Sanjeeda Shaikh describes her experience of working with beau Aamir Ali in Kya Dill Main Hain on 9X.

Before her entry in the show, her character in Kayamath was killed.

Apart from being seen as the hit jodi in Nach Baliye 3, a reality show that they went on to win, this couple, ironically, hasn't ever worked with each other prior to this, besides a brief cameo in Kis Des Main Hain Mera Dil . When asked why she chose to take up the show, here's what Sanjeeda had to say, "I wanted to work with Aamir. Secondly, it's another show by Ekta who has always given me great characters till date. When I heard the script, I realised that I would fit the role perfectly. This is a completely positive role and that's what I wanted to do after Kayamath ."

n the show, Sanjeeda will be seen playing the character of Naina, a lawyer by profession, but a fun loving, free-spirited and ambitious young woman. Sanjeeda also maintains that there would be no sparks flying in the show between her and Aamir, "That's not going to happen unless the script takes a turn and shapes up with us being paired together. Till then, it will be just about working on the same sets and having a hassle free time." That day may not be far. What with so many soaps taking unexpected turns, we are sure there'll be some kahani mein twist that'll pair the both of them too.

In the show, Sanjeeda will be seen playing the character of Naina, a lawyer by profession, but a fun loving, free spirited and ambitious young woman. So while most couples get romantically involved since they share great chemistry on TV with this couple it's the other way round. Their off-screen chemistry, which was so evident in Nach Baliye 3, will finally be evident in this new soap Kya Dill Main Hain
