Pratham is having fun while gauri is locked in the bathroom, Gauri gets scared and shouts out cockroach, Pratham is amused, Gauri insists him to open the door, Pratham opens the lock and goes, Gauri not knowing this keeps on banging, Mummyji comes and opens the door, and concerned asks her if she is alright, Pratham comes and looking innocent says 'what happened' and Mummji tells Pratham that Gauri got stuck and he should take care and scolds him and leaves, Pratham comes up to Gauri and says that from next time onwards think at least 10 times before doing anything, and leaves arrogantly.
Yash comes, and Yash and Chachu have a stupid discussion about style, and Chachu cunningly gets Yash's sunglasses, he goes up to his room and has a conversation with his imaginary wife who is dead.
Gauri is looking at Mummyji's sari's collection, and says that she has such a beautiful sari collection, and asks her whether she wears them or not, Mummyji replies sometimes, Gauri says exactly like her mum, she says that her mum has got the biggest collection but to only keep in the Cupboard, Mummyji asks if she is missing her mother, and then asks her that she like wearing saris, and then tells her to get saris from her whenever she needs, Gauri first kind of says no, but then Mummyji explains she is like her mother too. Mummji gets money out of the cupboard and tells her to get saris for herself and all the bahus, Gauri is a bit hesitant, then Mummyji tells her that Pratham will take her.
Samay again faces problems in office and yet again is told off by P's father.
Gauri is looking at Saris and Pratham is waiting outside and complaining, Gauri comes outside with a sales person to put the saris in the car, the sales person thinks Pratham as the driver, Pratham gets agitated, while Gauri doesn't mind, and also gives him tip, Pratham arrogantly asks Gauri why she gave him tip, Gauri tells him that the guy gave her good service.
A scene with Nivideta and her child, and then a talk with Nivideta and her father, her father talks about her second marriage and tells her his concerns as a father, both father and daughter hug.
Gauri is showing all the saris to the chachis, and all of them are getting very excited looking at them, The Chachis very sweetly say that from next time onwards they will go for shopping with her, Pratham comes and tells her that she left her money, and tells the chachis that gauri did a good bargain and got all the saris for half the price, Chachi aren't impressed, and angrily leave. Gauri stands there miserably.
Gauri goes to her room and cries miserably, and remembers the flashbacks of her mother telling her to be a good bahu and make a good impression as she has to stay there for the rest of the life, and tells her that the although the family members are nice, but still she might have to hear that she hasn't learnt anything in her maayka, and tells her to remember what ever she told her. Gauri angrily thinks that Pratham has played a dirty joke, and she will rebuke back to him, and wipes her tears. The epi ends.
Comments: My heart went out to Gauri when she cried! It's hard to adjust in a new family, Today's epi was fairly good 7/10, The best thing I like about this show is that it looks so real that it seems like that you are watching a common bahu's or kutumb's life rather then a vampish serial. I liked the bathroom scene, and the scenes between Gauri and the family.
