The other day i was thinking perhaps karan will dupe rishta drinks to make them confess.

Motive

Either to make rishta confess their crime and get them arrested or break them apart

Dupe the drinks. Make it look preeta slept with him or rishab in drunk state molested a guest at the party. Maybe Anjali plays the victim.
