Those who followed sister show (where a mere marriage day was dragged for 44 episodes!!) knows that the writers are sheer incapable of writing stories. My parents were big fans of sister show but stopped watching it after unending memory loss drama which extend from July 2016 to almost IPL 2017. Then after some time they started this show. Initially this show though terribly familiar show with same meek elder sister/fiery younger sister middle class background and all those things it has atleast a proper trilogy kind of thing for the main cast. But like in previous 10000 shows, writers simply are sheerly incapable of writing a proper trilogy and more often than not one character get brutally sidelined and the 2 main leads comes to the fore. Any 5 year old kid who have little bit exposure to movies or Indian television serials could have placed a bet that a "seedhi saadhi" protagonist will ultimately end up with "freebird bad boy" kind of guy so that guy can have a change of heart or he can become so called mature. One can already see the same where this is happening.
Plus, the writers have absolutely no story how to take it forward. While 80% of the show, the ultimate "pardadash" happens on marriage day so one can expect the same here that prithvi sherlyn pardadash happening on marriage day. Till then they will drag it like anything. My parents already moved to a different show in 9:30 slot as they expected something better but served a sane dish with new name.
Also, one can expect a fully clichd bride swapping thing (if the wedding of sherlyn and preeta happen together). That looks the only way where our so called wonderful writers can bring a "twist" because bride swapping has never been done before in the history of television.
An offtopic question: I watched 4-5 episodes of this show during dinner. Does anyone find Rakhi "irritatingly oversweet"? Means television have shown "maa jaisi saas" in 10000s of other shows but Rakhi characterization is right out of moral science books (or acting/character sketch issues)? Or like many other shows, this sweetness of Rakhi is hiding some extreme negativity which will be out once preeta comes in the house. Means these kind of tracks are already there.
