I've noticed this!! Generally it's KKB fans and Kasam fans keep bashing kdb and PreeRan!! Those who watch KKB & KDB or KDB alone regularly will never say that as we know except for the fact that it's a spin off, there is nothing much copied!! In KKB abhigya were married soon and here it's different!! Here Karan is smart and his character is not clueless like Abhi!! You could relate Abhi and Preeta , Karan and Pragya when it comes to their way of thinking!! Both the shows have different concepts!! Just bcoz kundali Bhagya tops the charts everytime, you can't blame it by such stupid bashing!!

I personally find Abhigya and Preeran extremely similar to each other . From the initial days of KDB i always found them similar , Abhi rockstar , busy with girls , having a gf like tanu and pragya , simple independent teacher .

Same Karan , cricketer , busy with girls , having a gf sophia and preeta , simple, independent , doctor.

Even the professions rockstar cricketer are thora hatke , whereas teacher doctor professions are similar and simple. Ofcourse the rich - middle class backdrop is there. Name calling each other , nok jhoks , so ekta has made them quite similar.

But the show KDB is different from KKB but preeran is similar to abhigya , but ofcourse the actors have nothing to do with it , they play whatever they are asked to.

Thanks for making this post... I always had this doubt. Why are kkb fans always calling kdb a copycat. I always feel hurt when i read such comments in twitter and all. I havent followed kkb regularly but i have watched a few parts and from what i know these two shows are totally different. Moreover the actors play their characters in a such a way that even if there is any similar scene, it turns out to be so unique. Shraddha and Dheeraj performs PreeRan with so much ease such that we cant even compare them with the other couple. Nokjhoks are there in all serials but that doesn't mean all those nokjhoks are magical like preeran. I agree abhigya also are adorable in their own way but entirely diff frm preeran.

Abhigya nokjhok started after their marriage and abhi even had reasons to hate pragya. here we dont even knw when karan preeta will get married (and many are even sure that rishab will marry her😭) . And preeran nokjhok also are different. I mean there was no such hatred between preeran . So what do they mean by "kdb is a copy of kkb". I dont get it!!!😡

I think kdb is attaining more popularity in social sites too...Kkb fans are using kdb hashtags for the ppl to read their tweets...I think no one is caring kkb hashtags😆😆
