Rishabh's worry for Preeta

I feel awkward during Rishabh's scenes. Like in today's episode, I seriously cringed at him shouting at Preeta for telling him to stop worrying about the wound. I know he cares about Preeta. Him worrying is also warranted. But the way he showed his worry, just feels like an easter egg to the fact he may become obsessive in the future. I feel like in RIshabh's mind, he thinks his worry/care for Preeta is higher than everyone else's. He's done this before too. Like when it was Karan freeing Sarla from jail, rather than him when Preeta begged Rishabh to do so.

Plus the fact that when Karan has been hurt, Rishabh is first worried about Karan's career, rather than Karan himself. I'm not saying Rishabh doesn't love his brother. He does, and would do anything for Karan. However, it is fathomable that Rishabh's "love for Preeta may eclipse his love for Karan, in future tracks.

I say this because so far all we've seen of Rishabh is him moping around for Preeta and why he didn't confess his love to Preeta. He's been passive for the most part, having only told the truth to his father. After this track is over, I think a major possibility is RishTa's rishta. My prediction is that his father will ask Sarla to get Rishabh married to Preeta, considering Preeta's engagement broke off too. Sarla would agree, always thinking Rishabh is perfect. Karan and Preeta's feelings will grow (considering we finally got a strong sign that Preeta has begun having feelings for Karan). Karan will be repressing his feelings until the wedding day, in which somehow Karan's love for Preeta will be revealed to all (maybe by Sameer and Shrishti), and Rishabh would selflessly step aside. If this happens, basically he will be holding on to his heartbreak, and smiling for his family, post PreeRan wedding, which is basically him right now. The future villain will use Rishabh's feelings to break PreeRan up or to break up the Luthra house.

Somehow I see that Rishab role does not have meat or anything at all left. He will probably be side stepped eventually and KDB will basically consists of the two pairs and future villains. Soon after a few episodes I started thinking Rishab is nomore than Suresh of KB. I hope i am proven wrong. And I just hope he does not become a total psycho villain. He does not deserve that at all.

I feel like Rishabh's character isn't given any justice. There is so more potential yet they make him into a mopey love-stuck aashiq that is mostly in the background.

All I can think in scenes like those is that HOW can his family not see? I mean the way he acts and speaks around Preeta, he might as well just scream that he loves her.

But I do agree, rather than have him mope around for Preeta, I wish they utilized his feelings. He has noticed things amiss with Prithvi and... on occassions, with Sherlyn too. Might as well just use the excuse to avoid this wedding. He could dig around on Sherlyn and find out about her affair and boom - shaddi over.

But from her on it will be there is a big possibility of going the RishTa route. Tbh, the whole brother find out about each other's love and giving up just makes me feel so awkward. I would rather have PreeRan get together WITHOUT knowing Rishab's feeling and maybe find out about it way later when they've realized their feelings for each other. Or maybe never.

I don't want Rishabh's character to turn grey or negative... He doesn't deserve that. For now his character has nothing much to do except hara hua aashiq... The makers should make a new entry as Rishabh's life partner whom he'll truly love and leave Preeta for Karan!

The key element of Rishab's character namely his uncotrollable outbursts and behavior at times.. whether in reference to Preeta or Sameer does not matter but may be the CV's are giving us some clues along the way. I do not like the way it is progressing but it is Ekta serial. She never does anything that makes audience happy. I still remember how screwed up were her plots in Pavitra Rishta and Bade achche lagte hein.. Totally sickening.

I find lot of potential if cvs work on rishab and shrishti...as pair...both actors look good together...and can create goon onscreen chemistry...I don't know why cvs are not cencentrating on this aspect...

Unexpected matches will certainly happen in Ekta serials. PR is classic example. full of unexpected matches in it.. So i suspect here too there will be lots of mixups.. otherwise the serial has to end as soon as Prithvi sherlyn are caught and everyone marries their loves as expected. like preeran, shrismeer.
