Sameer Luthra

So everyone is so invested in PreeRan or RishTa I feel like one character is being ignored and that is Sameer Luthra. Everyone is the household is so oblivious towards him, they treat him however they want whenever they want. He doesn't have any support system at home. Karan has daadi, Rishabh might think he's alone but be can easily speak to his brother or his mother, Kritika always had her maami. It's so unfair to Sameer. Rishabh doesn't respect him enough, Karan doesn't take him seriously and keeps calling him dumbo and I've never seen him interact with anyone else in the family. When karan was making fun of him in front of daadi, dadi should have stopped him. When Rishabh said "tu Mera asli bhai nahi hai and call me sir" rishabh should have given him a better apology than he did.

Plus whenever Rishabh is seen talking about business he always says talk to Sameer about it. So I don't think he's "dumb" Bcz if he was then why would Rishabh trust him with his business. I think Sameer just not confident enough to make his own decisions in the business. I really hope they show his back story on who he is and how he's related to them. Was he adopted by the Luthra family or are his parents dead?

I feel like shrishti will see how everyone treats him and make him realize that this is not okay and he needs to stand up for himself.
I know a lot of people in this forum don't like him but it's not your fault, Sameer hasn't been given enough screen space and when he has he's always shown as a loser.

I really hope they do something deeper with his character so we can feel that he is a parallel lead.

i really love your idea of Shrishti empowering him and making him feel worthy. I agree he hasnt been fleshed out as a character enough for me to care for him, I feel he is a dumb character but maybe that's just the writing.

I agree , Smeer's character is not yet that strong compared to the others , so he needs something more so that audience gets glued to him as well.

I disagree on the karan's part...karan treats him like his bro...like his friend...he shares everything with sameer...calling sameer dumbo or making fun of him doesn't mean karan is rude to him...or doesn't take him seriously...karan never hurts him with harsh words or makes him feel unimportant...above all he doesn't question his identity...if karan says all those stuff that rishabh told sameer...i would dislike karan for that...but he never once hurt sameer's feelings...he treats him as bro n a friend...we do joke around with our cousins...calling dumbo...make fun infront of elders but still the bond is strong...i am sure when karan gets to know abt sameer being in love with shrishti...he will be the first one to support him...

I personally have liked all Sameer's scenes so far. He needs to be more developed and get more scenes. But I like Sameer.

I also don't think Karan calling him a dumbo is offensive. It's just sibling banter. Karan talks more openly to Sameer than to Rishab, so they might be the two that are closer, almost like best friends. But I do agree that whilst Karan had his grandma as a support system, so far Sameer has no one. But we might see that he does as he gets more scenes. Maybe his support system is Ruhi. They look like they'd get along very well too.

sameer scenes is not so much thus we could not see the bonding...yes dadi is close to rishabh n karan but that doesn't mean she treats sameer like dirt...its just sameer doesn't have much scenes with dadi n family...he only have scenes mostly with karan...rishabh and shrishti...his character needs to develop more...in KKB purab's(arjit) character was explored more and he had bonding with Mehras...Aroras equally...his character is not limited to bulbul only...he had beautiful bonding with Abhigya...pragya-purab shares siblings bonding...he had great bonding with dadi n daasi...he had scenes with sarla n Rodadi too...sameer character needs to be develop more...he needs scenes with family...Aroras...preeta...i am sure sameer-preeta will have a sweet relationship like pragya-purab used to share...sameer needs more scenes so that we know his bonding...i love the way karan's call him with nickname 'sammy'...it feel so deep...

sameer needs to speak up for himself...if rishabh talks to him harshly or treats him like crap...give back to him...that comment of rishabh still irks me...not only rishabh if even karan does this he needs to do the same...self respect is more important...one sorry...call be bro is not enough...infact sameer needs to stand up for himself infront of the whole family...we need a backstory of him to understand him more...as far business is concern...rishabh does trust him n ask him to handle certain responsibilities...so he is not stupid in business...he does know how to handle...

i like the idea of shrishti giving him the strength to fight for himself...currently he is a good guy...

regarding screenspace...EK is giving the same treatment like she did in KKB in Purab-Bulbul track with Arjit-Mrunal...rishabh-karan has a sister ruhi...the focus in not on her...she is always seen in parties only...its being unfair...everyone should have a track n equal screenspace...

I too am really interested in Sameer's character and I enjoy his banters with Shrishti, who I did not like initially but she has really grown on me and I have come to adore her too.

Personally, I feel like Shrishti will and should be paired with Sameer because with the way that he backs down when taunted, he needs someone like Shrishti who will teach him to be bolder in situations like that and fight back. Shrishti would be the support system that he subconsciously needs. Plus, there is such a fun and natural chemistry between Anjum and Abhishek, they're both doing great in their respective roles. So I would love to see them both develop as individuals and as couple alongside the other characters and jodis.
