I've seen a few Kekta shows over my desi tv viewing career. Idk if you can call KDB a unique show or not. Some elements are different like the pacing of the show and the fact that it's a spinoff being a few. But it also has the same old same old true opposites attract that's been done to death a million times, the two different sisters as chalk and cheese story, the older sister being the ultimate sati savitri abla nari and the little sister being the sassy "modern" one, Sherlin and Kareena Bua being the villains and the middle class vs upper class issue.

I like the pacing and the casting is really good and the character of Rishabh is what made me interested in the show, but I know that Kekta won't spare this show either and will bring her twists and turns and create unnecessary drama 🤢

Despite being a spin off of KKB - KDB is different in it's story and characterisation. As you said it's how the actors breathe life into the characters that sets the show apart - otherwise someway or other ALL shows go for similar tracks/scenes for trp.

I've seen both Dheeraj + Shraddha bfr but they've really caught my interest as a couple here especially their chemistry. No doubt their story will be intense and passionate looking at Karan personality wise. Although he displays a carefree attitude to life and responsibilities he's very perceptive, wordly wise. What he says in an easy going manner are actually life truths. And best thing about him is he doesn't sit back assuming, he's very vocal with his thoughts.

I'm sooo eager to see him and Deepak locking horns over Preeta!
