Rishabh is who Preeta is looking for and Preeta is who Rishabh is looking for. Nahi samjhe? Wondering what makes us say this? Well in the very first episode of the show Preeta tells Srishti that she wants a life partner who is exactly like her; one who is down to earth and understands the realities of life. Preeta believes that most of the time guys who are stylish/handsome are filled with attitude, and therefore don't know or realize the value of love or what it means to respect a woman/wife. Preeta asserts that she wants equal 'darja' (position) in her marriage, and therefore will be more than satisfied if her life partner is simple and sweet. In her own words as long as there is love and respect that's all that matters. Does this remind you of someone? Bingo !!! It's Rishabh she is talking about. At this point Preeta does not know Rishabh but the man she describes is exactly like the elder Luthra brother. Same goes for Rishabh. A few episodes back when Preeta spoke to Rishabh about getting married; she painted a picture of the perfect life-partner which forced even a workaholic like Rishabh to consider marriage. She spoke of a companion who would understand him, support him and be with him in every walk of life. He find the idea of such a life-partner compelling. And thus Rishabh tells Preets that he will agree for marriage only if his would be life partner is exactly like her. There cannot be a clearer indication than this that the life partner Rishabh is looking for, who he believes matches the description given by Preeta is Preeta herself. Preeta does not realize this but when she talks about a life-partner for Rishabh, but at the end of the day the woman she describes - the life partner for a man like Rishabh, with whom he can share everything even the smallest of things is Preeta.

~.~ Happy and comfortable in each others company ~.~

Preeta and Rishabh have developed an easy camaraderie in a short span of time. They are happy, comfortable and all smiles when in each other's company. Now isn't that what a healthy relationship is all about? During Kritika engagement party we saw Preeta dance with both the Luthra brothers - Karan and Rishabh but both performances were as different as chalk and cheese. Preeta had already confessed that she gets really uncomfortable while dancing in public but, Rishabh makes sure that Preeta is least conscious and uncomfortable when dancing. There is a huge smile on her face when compared to her other dance partner for the evening. They thoroughly enjoyed dancing together and it was there for all to see. As known to all Rishabh is very close to his family but even they failed to find out the reason behind Rishabh not wanting to get married. Preeta was the first person to whom Rishabh opened up, and he was entirely comfortable doing so. He even admits that nobody has asked him the reason behind not wanting to get married as she did. So clearly there was something in the way she asked him that made it easier for him to share his feelings. As of now the flow of meaningful conversations, the joy they get when doing something for the other- and that too of their own volition is currently masked by the whole friend/well-wisher angle, but given a chance that is if the mask is taken off then this could become something much more beautiful and timeless because from what little they have already shown the positive energy, respect, understanding, affection etc. radiating from their relationship is there for all to see.

~.~ Like-minds attract' ~.~

9 out of 10 of our Hindi TV series especially shows produced by Balaji Telefilms thrive on the idea of Opposites attract'. But does it really have to be opposites attract? Should a simple girl fall always for the bad-boy? Should a happy go lucky girl always fall for the angry young man? Research actually shows that people prefer their life-partner to be one who holds the same values, views, with people who do not hold the same values and views as themselves. People may be attracted to both those who are different from them or who are similar to them but, when it comes to spending their entire life most of them prefer like-minded who adhere to their beliefs. Sure this is a fictional show and anything can happen here. We've been conditioned to believe that two totally different people from different worlds can and will ride off into the sunset together and the same can happen here as well. But it would be truly wonderful to watch Preeta and Rishabh who are much more like-minded, becoming life-partners because that would truly be a story to look forward to. Take the couple game at the restaurant every answer Preeta and Rishabh wrote matched which shows that they value the same things in life and have the same outlook about things. Such a match will pave way for an amazing story and journey. Yes, but the biggest challenge i how interesting can the makers make the love-story of a like-minded couple when compared to that of a diverse one? The other one is quite easy and it is a formula which is tried and tested but this one would definitely need creativity and thinking out of the box. Can Balahi take up such a challenge?

And last but not the least a bonus reason : ~.~ A simple love-story ~.~

It's been a while since we've had one from the Balaji camp and this could be it. Is it really necessary that a love-story should have tashan (attitude) between the girl and boy? That they should throw challenges at each other or have ego-clashes or score settlements? We have had many couples (still do) where initially the girl and guy have intense dislike or hatred for each other and then eventually fall in love. It's true that this is a tried and tested formula highly successful and popular but, an overdose of the same can get really taxing. Love can never be perfect, but it doesn't have to be messy and complicated. It can be simple and that simplicity can make it beautiful. The general notion that simple love-stories are less exciting is exactly that - a notion. The right tactics (in writing and execution) and even the simplest love-stories can make your heart flutter. Can make you wish you had one too. There is a saying that goes 'Variety is the spice of life'; pairing up Preeta and Rishabh, seeing them romance, finding joy in the little things, building and sharing a life together would be exactly that. And imagine the kind of passion they will share. Whoever said a simple-uncomplicated couple can never be passionate needs to get their facts straight. Because when love is deep with no place for unwanted complexities; the shade of passion becomes much more profound. Plus with brilliant actors like Shraddha Arya and Manit Joura playing Preeta and Rishabh one can very well imagine how passionate the duo can be if such a scene arises.

Only time will tell who Preeta will be paired with. With Deepak back in the picture the show will certainly take the high on drama and theatrics route; as every Hindi Prime time drama thrives on the same. But when the dust settles who will fate chose as Preeta's life-partner? Will it be Rishabh or Karan?
