I have watched a couple of episodes so far and it is has been entertaining. It reminds me of its parent show, Kumkum Bhagya's early days when it used to be a fun show as well.

I have a question - what is the backstory of the girls? How did Sarla end up with 4 daughters?

Basically Sarla's husband ran away with these 2 kids after they separated, and he raised them with the notion that their mother was dead. But once he was on his death bed, he came clean about the fact that they have a mum and 2 sis in Mumbai.

Though the girls feel like their mum is cold-hearted for now due to what they have been told so far about her by their dad?

Definitely at its best. I do not hold much hope for the long run, especially with the hight TRP shows. Just enjoying for now. 😆
