My exam results | |
| It's that time of the year when the stress and tension level of students is at an all-time high. Exam results have just been announced and the future of many will now be sealed. Our TV stars too appear for many 'examinations' on a daily basis. And all the exams are not academic. Such exams and its result may be different but can our actors recall the day when their college results were out? How did they feel? What were their emotions? Tellychakkar spoke to our popular TV actors on their tryst with exam results. And you will be happy to know that these good looking talented actors were also good students. Amir Ali: I always feared my exam results. Though my mom was supportive, I used to be panicky before every result of mine. She would tell me to buck up only when I scored really low. During my 10th board exam I couldn't write my papers well as I was sick. I was most tense for this result but I scored 70%. Actually my exam results were never as per my expectations. Many a times I got less marks than what I deserved. I was a decent student. In my initial academic years I faired well but later I got distracted with other things.
I was a good student. My results were always good as expected by me and my family. My parents are the most chilled out parents in this world. They knew that I will score good marks, so they never had to worry about my results. My 12th grade result was the most memorable. I wanted to score a distinction in English literature. My teacher told me that it is hard to score above 70 marks in the subject. I was determined to attain a distinction and I scored 77 marks. It was an achievement. In totality I scored 74% in my 12th grade exam.
I was least interested in my results. I have an older brother who was more serious in studies. He would do well academically and I was constantly compared to him by my parents. Strangest thing is that I never even went to check my results. For my10th board exam result, my brother had gone to collect the result. I was in the bathroom when my brother told me that I had scored 80%. I reacted saying he must have got someone else's result. I just couldn't believe that it was my result. That was the time I realised that I was good at studies. It is just that I never worked hard.
I generally looked forward for my results. Hindi was a subject that I feared. I would score high in Math but for Hindi I would struggle to even pass. After every result, I was seen begging for one or two marks from my Hindi teacher to pass me. Interesting thing is that I scored 75 marks in my 10th class Hindi paper. I was a good student. I scored above 80% in most of my exams. Being a prefect for four years, I used to work hard in exams to maintain my reputation. My dad would give me a lecture if my results were not good.
I am awaiting my M.Com result. I think this one is going to be a special result of my life. Generally, I am used to studying in a locked room but this time I had to study on the sets. I am curious to know how I fair in this exam. I usually attain distinction in exams. I used to fare with good marks in my school days. In college, I got involved with lot of extra curricular activities. |
