We asked the story head Rajesh Chaddha about the development. He reveals, "The twist will take the story in a new direction wherein the new families of Sumit and Kumkum will be introduced. As you know Juhi wanted a much-needed break to get in shape after a hectic schedule for this many years. She is now in Mysore, enjoying her break. We want to play around with the new characters for little while, and see how the audience takes it."

But don't you think the absence of Hussain and Juhi will hamper the TRPs? "Let us see how it goes. If the viewers are not able to take the story line revolving around the new families for long, then we will probably work on introducing a new character. Juhi will come back when the story demands her entry as the show is entirely hers," he explains.

P.S: The reincarnation formula has come back into fashion post the stupendous success of Om Shanti Om. Himesh Reshammiya is working on a remake of Karzzzz and now tellywood too is following suit.
