The announcement of Hum Tum Aur Mum replacing Dekho Magar Pyar Se has put an end to speculation about the serial's exit from the channel.

The last episode of BAG Films' Dekho Magar Pyar Se will air on September 15, with Hum Tum Aur Mum going on air in the following week, on September 19.

An adaptation of the Latin American soap Mi Gorda Bella, Dekho Magar Pyar Se began with the trials and tribulations of the plump Nikki. However, post her transformation into a svelte girl, there were changes in cast (Shweta Agarwal was replaced by Shraddha Nigam as Nikki) and storyline.
