Zara hatke...zara bach ke....ye hai Kumkum meri jaan 😉...
this is what i feel about the other soaps when i see Kumkum 😃 😛....
wanna know why?? 😳 😛....then read on 😉...
consider this :
The heroine finds out the truth about the vamp....she goes and meets her....challenges her.....feels defeated....goes back to her and pleads her....agrees to do anything she wants...then crying, feeling majboor, goes to the temple....asks god what wrong has she and her family done.....why are they being punished like this....and then starts detectivegiri and starts finding out 'saboot' against d vamp on her own...tolerating evrythin herself...not sayin a word 2 any1...n all d while her family misunderstands her....n she bears d brunt in d hope tht one day evrythin wil b fine....she cries n cries bt doesn't give up hope....
Typical daily soap track...isn't it???
Now bring a twist to it....let everything remain the same...the plot...the story....the temple...the god...the questions...the family....the punishment...the misunderstanding....the detectivegiri...the saboot...the vamp...the tears...
bas heroine ki jagah....HERO !!!!
well that's wat has happnd in Kk in this Nivi track....no doubt tht this frnd turned foe blackmailing plot is not new...but wat's new is the way in which it is portrayed....
iss baar agni pariksha Sita nahi, Ram ko deni padh rahi hai....
Sumit lieing to Kumkum....supporting Nivi...creating misunderstandings....and most importantly what is considered to a woman's weapon, crying....and that too to perfection....for his love....to save her....
kehte hain naa - 'sangat ka asar'....jaisi patni, vaisa pati.....itne saalon tak ye sab Kumkum ne kiya...ab Sumit ki baari hai...aur voh kisi se peechhe nahi hai...
Agar apni Kumkum bhagwaan se ladhti hai, toh hamara Sumit bhi unhe chunauti dene mein peechhe nahi hai....
Agar apni Kumkum bhari bharkam dialogues se villain/vamp ko behosh karti hai, toh hamara Sumit bhi aisi baatein badhe hi achhe andaaz mein kehta hai...
Agar apni Kumkum ne rone mein Masters haasil ki hai, toh hamara Sumit bhi aansuon ki baarish laane mein ustaad hai...
The moral of the story is...all the prime time shows, which are watched not just by house-wives, but their whole family, including men, they all show women only doing everything everytime, and men just support them.....but Kumkum, despite being an afternoon show, where majority of the viewers are women, has shown it's male protagonist doing all the important stuff, while the female this time is supporting....though the plot is not exactly new, but it's presentation is sabse unique....n this uniqueness makes Kumkum, "The Kumkum", which we love a lottt.....
