Wadhwa House
Veena comes running to dadiand informs her that DD is not opening the door of her room. Dadi gets tensed, goes to DD's room and starts banging on her door. kul, Mahesh, Sumit and Kumkum also come there. Just then, DD opens up the door and comes out smiling, saying that she was getting the bride ready. Aashka brings Mishri out of the room. Mishri looks beautiful in western wear, she is wearing a pink top and shaded brown skirt, with matching accessories. Mahesh looks at her and smiles, so do others. They all compliment Mishri. Kumkum gives her a gift, it's a necklace. Mishri refuses to acept it as it is very costly, made of diamonds. Mahesh also asks Kumkum to take it back. Kumkum tells them Mishri is the daughter of this house, and this is not just their duty, but their right also to give her gifts on her 'vidaai'. Methi comes and gifts her a mixer. Mishri thanks him and tells everyone that now she won't be scared of this machine as Methi has taught her how to use it. DD thanks everyone for supporting them and bringing happiness back in their lives. Kul tells them to hury as they might miss their flight. Mahesh, Mishri and DD leave WH.
Hospital
Nivi is standing outside the ward where her father has been admitted, crying. Doctor comes out and tells her that Mittal is serious, he has not yet gained consciousness. Suddenly the media persons come and surround her asking her questions about Mittal. Nivi gets irritated and tells them she doesn't know anything. Wadhwa family watches this on their TV screens. Sumit and Kumkum rush to the hospital. There, they move through the crowd to get to Nivi. Nivi, on seeing them, turns her face and starts moving in the opposite direction. Just then, the doctor comes out and informs them that Mittal is no more. Nivi is shocked and faints. Sumit holds her. Kumkum feels sad.
Wadhwa House
Rakesh calls, dadi answers his phone. He asks if everything is alright there. Dadi is unable to respond, so hands over the phone to Kul. Kul tells him not to worry as everything is fine here, and asks him to make Mishri and DD enjoy there. Dadi says that now only Sumit and Kumkum can bring everything back to normal. She prays to god to give Nivi the strength to handle everything.
Hospital
Doctor comes out and tells Sumit, Kumkum that Nivi is under shock, she has gone into depression. Kumkum tells the doctor that once before also Nivi went into depression when her marriage broke 4 years back. Doctor tells them not to worry. Kumkum goes inside to find Nivi unconscious. She sits besides Nivi, holds her hand and cries silently, remembering all the moments she had spent with her (their meeting when Kumkum was disguised as Santo, the holi scenes, KK-Nivi's sweet conversations at their houses, Nivi-Rakesh's marriage etc.) Sumit comes inside and tells Kumkum that people from Mittal's office had called and said that everything is ready for the end rituals - "antim sanskaar". He asks if she knows about any other relatives of Nivi. Kumkum says that Nivi considered her, Kumkum, her everthing, her sister, her family, her best friend. and she kows about nobody else. Sumit tells her that they only will have to fulfill the customs. He tells her to stay with Nivi, while he goes and performs the rituals.
Wadhwa House
Veena is in her room worried when Aashka and neeti come in and ask her the reason of her worry. She says that Kumkum and Sumit have not talked since they have gone and they have not returned also. Aashka tells her that Kumkum cant leave Nivi in this state all alone, and asks Veena if she and Neeti can be of any help. Veena tells her that she and dadi had decided that once Mishri gets her hysband back, they will distribute 'suhaag ka joda' among 16 'suhagans', and she shop for those with Kumkumonly as Kumkum knows the choice of modern girls. Ashka tells her that who better than the modern girls themselves, can help Veena in this matter. She says that she and Neeti are going out and Veena can come with them, and they can help her in shopping. Veena agrees and all 3 go.
Shopping Mall
Veena shops for sarees, when Ashka tells her to get the bills made as she is going to the other shop with Neeti for shopping accessories. She and Neeti move out of that shop, when Aashka hears a voice, asking them to buy CD's and cassettes. She suddenly stops and turns out......and is shocked to see.... Abhishek standing there. She remembers her encounterswith him (when he gifted her a ring, when he deceives her etc. etc.) She is shocked to see Abhishek in this state. She asks him how and what happened to him. Just as he is replying, she sees Veena coming towards them. She suddenly bids him goodbye, grabs Aashka and goes away. Abhishek follows her and asks her to meet him just once. She asks him to leave her way. Neeti asks Aashka about Abhishek. She tells her that she will explain everything later as Veena was approaching them. Veena comes there and finds Aashka worried. She tells her to stay calm in this situation as she has to take care of someone else also these days. She takes Aashka and Neeti to some other shop, Abhishek is standing behind, Aashka looks at him and keeps her hand on her stomach to indicate about her baby, Abhishek keeps on looking at her....
