Sanjit Bedi joins Kumkum

The hot news about the cool dude Sanjit Bedi is that the actor is all set to do a special appearance in the serial Kumkum. On confirming the actor said, "Yes, I am doing a special appearance. I am playing the character of Mohit Kapadia, who is a cool, suave, well-to-do NRI. Mohit has come back to India since he shares a lot with the land."

Sanjit has modeled for brands like Thums Up, Sprite, Lakme, Charms, Ford Ikon and Arrow before he turned to host shows on B4U and finally settled down as an actor. Sanjit was highly acclaimed for his performance in Sanjivani as Dr. Omi Joshi. Currently the actor has three shows on air--- Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasmaan and Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka.

How important is his character to the show? Adds Sanjit, "My character will be there for some episodes. It is a short an impactful role that would give the story a new dimension. It's about a successful man who still feels incomplete. Mohit is in love with Niti (Megha Gupta), but she is love with someone else."

So does he sacrifice his love or he marries Niti? "Let the audience wait to see it for themselves" answers Sanjeet." And how hopeful is he about his character making a real difference to the show.
