First off all, thank you all for waiting soooo patiently 😳 😳 😳....

Previously : Sumit realises his mistake and apologises to Nidhi and Kumkum. Nidhi forgives him and accepts him as a friend, but Kumkum does not. Nidhi decides to make Sumit and Kumkum friends with each other.

SCENE 16

Kumkum and Nidhi leave college together and head towards the bus stop. There, they catch the bus and decide to go to Kumkum's house only. While travelling in the bus, they both are lost in their own thoughts.

Kumkum (thinking) : Ye Nidhi ko ho kya gaya hai....lagta hai iska dimaag poori tarah se kharaab ho gaya hai...usne uss chhachhundar se dosti kar li.....koi aur nahi mila kya usse....specially usne jo kuch hamare saath kiya, uske baad....usse toh dhakke maar kar nikaal dena chahiye tha...lekin isne toh uss se haath mila liya...kya jaadoo kar diya hai uss chhachhundar Sumit ne meri dost par....2 din mein usne itna pareshan kar diya, toh college ke 4 saal uske saath ek hi class mein kaise beetenge....

Nidhi (thinking) : uff...ye Kumkum ko manaana kitna mushkil kaam hai....specially Sumit se friendship karne ke liye...voh kabhi nahi maanegi..lekin usse manaana toh padhega...maine Sumit se keh toh diya ki main usse manaaungi, lekin main ye karungi kaise...maanti hoon Sumit ne jo kiya, theek nahi kiya...par usse apni galti ka ehsaas ho gaya hai...aur uski aankhon mein sachhaii aa chuki hai....ab main Kumkum ko ye sachhaai kaise dikhaun...2 din mein ye dono itna ladhe hain, ab 4 saal ek hi class mein kaise rahenge...aur uss se bhi badhi baat, main in dono ki dosti kaise karaaungi...

They reach their destination, while thinking. They get down at the required stop and move silently towards Kumkum's house. Nidhi calls her home and tells her parents that she's going to stay at Kumkum's for the night. They reach the building and start climbing upwards towards the door. As usual, there is a lot of TV noise from inside the house. They reach the door and find it open. Both of them enter inside, find Ekta watching TV as usual. On moving inside, they find Anku...........STUDYING !!!!!! Seeing Anku sitting with so many books in her lap, on the couch in the sitting room, both Nidhi and Kumkum get shocked as Anku never studies on her own until she is shouted at by Kumkum atleast 100 times, and even if she does, she always confines herself to just one book, but that day, she was submerged inside huge piles of books.

Kumkum (worried) : Anku??

Anku (without looking up) : haan didi...

Nidhi (worried) : tu theek toh hai??

Anku (again not looking up) : haan bilkul....kyun??

Kumkum : pakka tu theek hai naa?

Anku : haan baba....aap dono baar baar kyun poochh rahe hain??

Nidhi : kyunki tujhe pehli baar kitaabon mein dooba hua, itne maze se padhta hua jo dekh rahe hain....

Anku gets angry on hearing this.

Anku (angrily) : aapka matlab hai ki main padhti nahi hoon....main apni kitaabon ko haath nahi lagaati....

Kumkum and Nidhi are speechless, just then Ekta switchs off her TV and interferes..

Ekta (sarcastically) : nahi nahi Anku....tum toh bahut padhti ho....itna ki padh pad ke tumne apni books ka bura haal kar diya hai...itna ki tumhe exams ke 2 din pehle hi pata chalta hai ki 2 din baad tumhare FINAL EXAMS shuru hone waale hain...

Anku gets scared, and Kumkum and Nidhi surprised and angry.

Kumkum (very angrily) : sirf 2 din rehte hain tere final exams mein??...aur tune bataya bhi nahi??

Anku (scared) : didi voh main....

Nidhi (angrily) : voh tu kya huh....issliye tu itne dhyan se padh rahi hai naa...kyunki agar abhi bhi nahi padhegi toh fail ho jaayegi....hai naa??

Ekta : bilkul...chal ab sitting room ko zyada faila mat aur andar apne kamre mein jaake padhai kar...

Kumkum : bas har jagah jhooth jhooth jhooth....(to Nidhi) ab matt kehna mujhe isse maaf karne ke liye....vaise bhi anku meri behen hai, isse main maaf kar sakti hoon, par uss chhachhundar ko nahi....kabhi nahi....samjhaa dena uss chhachhundar ko.....

Kumkum leaves the room and goes upstairs to her room. Ekta is surprised by this behaviour of Kumkum.

Ekta : isse kya ho gaya hai??

Nidhi heaves a sigh and explains everything to her and asks her for help.

Ekta : hmmmm.....main tumhari help karungi, lekin ek shart par...

Nidhi : kaisi shart??

Ekta : pehle uss ladke se tum mujhe milwaaogi...

Nidhi : theek hai eks di...main aapko milwaaungi...fir aap khud hi decide karna, uss se friendship karni chahiye ya nahi...

Nidhi calls up Sumit and informs him that Ekta wants to meet him first. He agrees, but a bit reluctantly.

He turns and sees his best friends, Rach and Ash, looking at him, apparently scared.

When Sumit returned home from college, he went straight to his friends, who had given him the idea of separating Kumkum and Nidhi and gave them such a huge lecture and scolded them so much that they were on the verge of tears. They too, realised their mistake, and apologised. Just then, Nidhi's call came. Now he was wondering how Kumkum's elder sister would be and why does she want to meet him.......
