HEre is a brief backgroud of kk serial:actually kumkum was the wife of jatin ,sumeet's elder brother.& sumeet was the DEVAR of kumkum.sumeet and kumkum were very good & best friends.

jatin had brain tumour and he died ,DHRUV is jatin's son.after jatin's death the whole family confessed kk to marry again [with his friend vishal] but at the last moment vishal's family rejected this marriage ,so sumeet was very tensed as he had promised his dada ji[grand father] to take the full responsibility of his bhabi's [kumkum's] marriage ,at that time dada ji was in a serious condition and was hospitilised so for the sack of dada ji's life & happiness he married kumkum,

thank GOD he married her otherwise we never get such a nice couple.
