Is all well with Star's most famous jodi?
The cold vibes between Husain Kuwajerwala and Juhi Parmar, who play the lead couple in Kumkum — Pyaara Sa Bandhan were quite evident at the Star Parivaar Awards recently held at the NCPA. This correspondent, who was witness to their cold war saw Husain enter with his lovely wife Tina for the awards function, mingle with the other actors before the ceremony started and finally sit together to watch the show.
Now the seating arrangement made at the event was such that the cast and crew of each serial sat together. While Hussain and Tina mingled with the others, Juhi entered wearing a black see-through sari and hugged Tina. While Juhi's friends who sat behind Husain in the next row insisted that she sit next to him as the seat was empty, Juhi preferred to sit beh-ind him. All this while Husain seemingly ignored Juhi, without knowing that she was talking to his wife. Both ignored each other, pretending as if they were strangers to each other. The two actors neither looked at each other nor uttered a word.
Even as Husain was congratulated by his team for winning an award, Juhi remained mum. Husain, in turn, stood up with the rest of his team when Juhi went to receive her award, but did not congratulate her. When contacted actor Husain, he denied any friction saying, "No no, not at all." Sources say that the duo had differences over their serial taking a time leap in April. It is said that Juhi was okay with the idea while Husain had some reservations.
