STAR Parivaar Awards is a platform on which STAR awards the best members of its family for entertaining its audiences and it takes place on a larger & grander scale every year following its launch. This year the awards ceremony will be celebrating its 10th year of successful innings.

The first award was started in 2002 and in the first year of its celebration actor Ronit Roy got his first ever award as Favourite Pati (Mihir Virani) for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. In the same year Shweta Tiwari-Cezzane Khan got a favourite jodi award for Kasauti Zindagi Kay. It was a huge hit in its first year. This event brings to life the concept of a perfect parivaar. From the various shows on STAR Plus, now YOU get to decide who will ultimately come together to form the perfect STAR Parivaar. A one of its kind event where the award goes not to the individual or the performance, but to the character that is being portrayed. So who is the favourite bahu? Who is the favourite daughter? This awards also have the title track of STAR Parivaar awards in which all the actors of STAR Plus thank fans for all their support, love and also to make their family complete. This year's Star Parivaar Awards, the 'tyoharo ka tyohar – Star Parivaar' promises to be the biggest ever television awards extravaganza aired this year or ever before!
