According to a source quoted in a news report, the couple met during the time Aman's serial Sujata was airing on Sony TV. The girl, Anketa, had auditioned for the lead, which is how they met.
The source added, "They started chatting and exchanged phone numbers. They would talk about everything under the sun, and Aman felt Anketa had a calming effect on him. When Aman realised he was in love with Anketa, he asked her out. They are very serious about each other."
