After creating headlines across the country by introducing the star couples of the next real reality show, Imagine has roped in the versatile and charming TV actor Sharad Kelkar as the host of Pati Patni Aur Woh. Apart from being a host Sharad Kelkar will be a friend and confidante of the couples and will unravel the emotional, maddening, challenging, nervous, joyful and the REAL side of the celebrity couple's journey to parenthood.

Accepting his new role, Sharad Kelkar said, "It's great to be back with something new and fresh. I am really glad to be a part of this unique concept. I am sure this show will be truly delightful to watch and I will help the audiences get one step closer into the lives of their favorite celebrity couples. I wanted to choose something good but I got the best."

The show will feature the reality of raising a child, where 5 celebrity couples Rakhi -Elesh, Debina- Gurmeet Chaudhary, Shilpa- Apurva, Juhi - Sachin Shroff, Mouni - Gaurav will go through the challenging, frustrating, yet rewarding experience of parenthood ' from infancy to adolescence. Pati, Patni Aur Woh is an adaptation of the hit international format by Love Productions called Baby Borrowers and will be produced by BBC Worldwide Productions India.

Pati Patni Aur Woh delayed

The new reality show Pati Patni Aur Woh, which was supposed to commence shooting last month, on August 10, has been delayed a bit.

An Indya source says, "We were going to start shooting for the show in the first week of August, but that didn't happen as the location we were looking for in the North didn't work out. So we had to shift locations." All five couples who are part of the show had blocked a month from their schedules, till September 10, for the shoot.

"The shoot finally started on August 18 and will get over next Friday, on September 18. Right now, the shooting is taking place in Goa," the source says, adding, "The time slot for the show is yet to be decided, though we expect to get the prime-time slot of 9pm. The show will go on air by the end of this month."

Pati Patni Aur Woh has been adapted from the international Baby Borrowers and will have five couples going through the experience of being a parent, from the stage of pregnancy to taking care of older children. They will also have to live within a budget and work for their living.
