what can we really do about this? anyway Star Plus is not a channel who bothers about their viewers opinions or sentiments...they take their own decisions, they do what ever they want.

what I want is somehow to see them together as long as it is possible....If the situation is bad I wouldn't mind seeing them twice a week or even once a week in something that is reliable like a serial or atleast in good movies. It's ridiculous to give up on them just like that because I know Hussain Juhi still have plenty of surprises in their package to blow the audience.

I don't mind if they change the timing or they reduce the no. of spots as long as I get to see them on-air. I'm mailing to Star Plus requseting to do that and show us a little mercy atleast in the tiniest way they can...

let's hope for the best! I really don't know hw I would carry on if that actually happens...

Star Plus to strengthen afternoon slot with 3 new shows

The dog fight for the top spot in the Hindi general entertainment channel (GEC) space is getting more competitive with both Star Plus and Colors betting high on the afternoon band, which could be a deciding factor for the market leadership.

While Colors is planning to create an afternoon slot, Star Plus is strengthening its afternoon slot with three new shows - Phool Kamal Ke, Shradhha and Star Vivaah. These three new shows will be launched in April. As of now, Colors has been airing repeats of its prime-time shows in the afternoon.

Keertan Adyanthaya, executive vice-president and general manager, Star Plus, says, "The afternoon property on Star Plus have been exciting, engaging and have done exceedingly well. With the launch of these three new shows, we now attempt to take a leap ahead in strengthening our afternoon slot."

Phool Kamal Ke is a love story depicting how love knows no boundaries and surpasses social norms and barriers. It will replace Kumkum – Pyara Sa Bandhan at 1 pm

The second show, Shraddha, produced by Siddhant Cinevision, centres around the young protagonist's dedication towards her family. It will replace Karam Apna Apna at 2 pm

Star Vivaah is a reality based matrimonial show involving eligible young men and women hunting for their ideal matches and tying the nuptial knot on screen. It will be produced by BAG Films and has Shaadi.com as its partner. Grihasti will give way to this show at 2:30 pm.

ur right Fary...it can be a rumour!!and the starplus ppl know very well tht Juhi is on a break so trps has to go down..its obvious!!but they also know tht wen Juhi is gonna come back the show will be back wid high trps!!so why not give it a chance??
