MUMBAI: Radio Misty 94.3 fm, the First and Number one fm station of North Bengal and Sikkim partnered with Delhi Public School, Siliguri for Annual cultural extravaganza Unison 2008 on Sunday. Thousands of Students and parents danced on tunes with famous TV celebrity Hussain Kuwajerwala.

This annual concert of Delhi public school is much awaited event in the region. Students were making preparations from last two months for this annual event. Students Performed with unique concept and innovation.Nach BaliyeStar and TV celebrity Hussain added glamour to show.Hussain answered to questions from students.

Radio Misty Bought students live at show masty ki pathshala, where they shared their joy about this show. Students were very excited visiting studio and getting live on the show. Radio Misty Chief Executive Officer Nishant Mittal said that this was big show for students and parent's .Radio Misty was proud to partner to this event.Hussain is a youth icon now. Radio Misty Radio Jocks covered the event live from DPS grounds.

DPS remembers Mumbai terror victims

Siliguri, Nov. 30
: The moment was quite overwhelming. Over 7,000 guests and students who had turned up for the annual function at DPS today stood in silence as a minute's mourning was observed in memory of the lives lost in the Mumbai terror attacks.

The silence was also in memory of Siliguri mayor Bikash Ghosh, who passed away on November 25. Bengal urban development and municipal affairs minister Minister Asok Bhattacharya, Darjeeling district magistrate and police chief and several other dignitaries from the administration and business communities joined the 2,500 students and teachers of the school in the mark of respect for the departed.

Among the those who attended Unison 2008 was a Mumbaikar as well, who was in the city when the tragic events of the last few days unfolded.

TV personality Hussain Kuwajerwala of Indian Idol and Nach Baliye fame, who also stood in silence, later shared a few of his experiences with the students as a citizen of a "war-torn city".

Hussain staged a 30 minute performance with a team that had been hand-chosen locally.

The four-hour show comprised songs, dances, skits and ballads as well as short plays in English and Hindi. "We decided to hold our annual function this year on one day, instead of spreading it over four days as in previous years," said Purba Chatterjee, the school's debating captain, while explaining why Unison 2008 was being held in a grand scale this year.

thanx for article...akhi hussain ka golmaal kya tha pata chala....jab su gayab hota hain na i start getting hypr as why is he getting gayab and always he is upto something and this is comething for noble cause so i let him go ha ha ha.....
