The story revolves around the large Wadhwa family benignly ruled by patriarch Harsh and wife Raajeshwari. They have two sons — the good for nothing Brijbhushan and the dynamic Kulbhushan. Since Brijbhushan doesn't see eye-to-eye with his father, Kulbhushan and his son Jatin primarily look after the business empire.

It is Jatin and his wife Kumkum who are the main focus of the storyline. Madly in love with each other, they believe in old fashioned values and love all prevails in their lives. Everyone dotes on Kumkum and when she conceives, obviously the elders are ecstatic.

As the pregnancy advances and Kumkum builds dreams around the baby, her world comes shattering down when it is detected that husband Jatin has a terminal illness. Will her love, commitment and faith in God save Jatin? Watch the mushy serial for answers.
