The first time I tried to watch the show was back initial days of it only because of Sriti. Then had to stop watching due to the super boring chewing gum saga - dragging of every track like rubber
Back then as well Tanu used to behave like Abhi is the only guy existing on this planet & she has to marry him anyhow. same like Pragya was like her kumkum is everything, bhaadh mein jaye baki all. The amount of kumkum word used in this explains a lot. I get it. Writers want show's title reference but in every breathe???
The show has started on April, 2014 and now its May, 2021 and everything is back to square one. 20 years have been passed Tanu still wants to marry Abhi...Pragya is again on her knees begging for mercy, oh & again kumkum reference🤢
Its humiliating to see a positive characters begging for mercy from villains. IK they will any way stop the wedding but this...but Pragya begging to Tanu & Tanu having sadistic pleasure - the visual representation as in promo it will remain forever. Same as I said in mentally unstable Abhi getting beaten by Aliya - they shouldn't have aired this on tv/uploaded on app. This is disturbing. Same goes for Rhea of Dusri Peedhi. She after doing so many criminal offences - is roaming around like a boss,her mom dad have been justifying her psycho traits as "Not Dil Ki Budi, Bas Thodi Si Ziddi" and everyone is shamelessly accepting this glorification. Just like Aliya after doing so many evil things..never been punished (lol 1 or 2 slaps/ 1 or 2 times getting thrown out of house can never be considered as punishment because you know...cvs has already established the fact that its okay to do these to your wife as well, after all you are her kumumk). And jail is like 2nd home for all the characters. They get bailed out anyway. These permanent villains should be jailed & sent to rehab.
