Losing interest

I am slowly losing interest in the show. So Aliya is ok with getting her niece into trouble just because her mother raised her? She didn't, not for a bloody moment, felt bad for Prachi or remembered whatever she had done with her already. Instead got on with her plotting against Prachi just because she hates her mother? That woman didn't even think for a second that this girl is her own brother's elder daughter. I am disgusted. Thoroughly disgusted. Too much meaningless negativity. As if these Villains are not enough they are turning good people into villains too like Pallavi. What bothered me is that Aliya straight away started plotting against Prachi without even sparing a minute to wonder that Prachi is her niece too. I think I am gonna stop watching this nonsense. Stories on Pranbir are infinitely better than this crap they are trying to shove down our throat.

Agree 100%. I had never watched kumkum bhagya at all because I had given up on Ekta kapoor serials long time ago. Then I got to know that Mugdha is going to be a part of it and I could not resist. I hv been her fan since PRC days. Even then I watched it quite late like in Oct or Nov 2019 on zee5. And hv loved Pranbir immensely. But but this maya track dragging on like a chewing gum and the same old plotting by Aliya, I m fed up. I only watch pranbir scenes and fast forward everything else.

Agree with you. They had one and half year to show Aliyas reaction and they ruined it. Maybe i had kept my expectations low this time hence was not dissapointed😆. I can undestand her loving Rhea more than Prachi since she is with her since childhood but her being completely ignorant of Prachi doesn't make sense🤢. I have always seen Aliya as grey not black. Also this much attachment with Rhea doesn't make sense when you have your own son.

Also I have lost hope in them showing bet track. They seem to be going to kdb route. Kkb had unique story but now going to same old route🤢. Humiliation track worked for kdb doesn't mean it will work for every show.

People were loving kkb before because of Ranbir and Prachi unique relation. It was not as toxic as now and people still liked it but now people are not liking it. Look at todays trps. Its not good. Eventhough trps increase, it increased for every show , kdb and kkb had nearly similar trps just after lockdown but now kdb is no 1 while Kkb is out of top 10 and it deserves it and i won't mind if it drops further🤢

Honestly I kind of feel all these discussion about the show is waste as they will make fool of us. They will continue to show the crap that doesn't make sense. So i am thinking of limiting my discussions here. They have also made Ranbir dumb. Also this week will be full of everyone blaming Prachi. So I am ignoring this whole week scene.

And yeah kkb stories are better than actual plotline😆

I agree with you. I was so disappointed when there was no impact on aliya's character. I mean if they had shown an episode where she is shocked and having inner monologues but finally decided to continue doing whatever she has been doing then atleast that would have made sense. They don't have any point for negativity anymore as the actress playing disha also quit so even if there's something fishy behind Aryan what's the point. The fact remains that they have been together for 20 years and have a 20 year old son so obviously that matters more than going back to long lost love especially when sunny is nowhere to be seen. So even if Pragya finds everything out she still won't tell Aryan or any of the kids because she wouldn't want to break a family. And purab is nowhere to be seen and no idea if he is still a part of the story or would be witnessed anytime soon or not. So they are just making up property and assets as a reason while it makes no sense as throughout kkb,Aliya knew pragya doesn't care about money and she has been separating them for so many reasons but none of them were for money.

So,not only was the scene that actually goes with the storyline and is a very important breakthrough was such a disappointment. Now they have screwed up the whole base behind why Aliya doesn't want pragya and prachi in their lives. Atleast if it was about purab and disha it'd have made sense as we know her obsession with purab but this doesn't. It's like a hit to all those 1500 episodes. And if Aliya truly loves Rhea then she knows how much Rhea wants her mom or prachi's mom and yet she is still stuck up on her middle class stereotypes.

More than this,I used to watch just for pranbir but Ranbir is really starting to piss me off and like mala said it is going in kdb route where the family loved her first and then hated her. I feel like Ranbir was a lot more smart and mature when he didn't realize he was in love with prachi. I miss that characterization of Ranbir,he was sensible. Now even if he goes in majnu mode it's very irritating because he is ignoring the seriousness of the situations around him and being stupid and leaving everything to prachi. And also it would have been wiser if he had just waited and taken the money from Maya than office. I mean sure Maya's family will blackmail but they always do so at this point it doesn't matter anymore. I think even I'll just read the updates and take a break from the show. Atleast until they show something important like twins revelation. I have a feeling bet is long forgotten just like Maya's molestation.

They could have explored more on shahna's character and how she got to know prachi and what happened to her parents and all. But it's like Aryan and shahna are just diaries for pranbir. And now unreasonably making pallavi negative and even dida and Vikram weren't as supportive in the previous track. Only abhi and Ranbir were. They could have made Aryan teach Aliya a very good lesson but no. They could have made Aryan learn the entire truth and reveal it to Rhea and both of them together exposing Aliya could also be done and it'd have also been a really good cousin bonding but no. They could have shown Aliya having some internal conflict and emotions about prachi but no. They could have shown pragya's struggle as a single mom but no. They had so much scope to show so many different things that adhere to the storyline and yet they have to show something this lame for trps. Now the biggest twist mugdha was talking about was about Aliya except it didn't feel like it was a huge twist. Now that Aliya is also in the equation, they'd take another year minimum for abhigya reunion or twins revelation. Again I am a fan of pranbir only but then again the story should also move somewhere right? We could have pranbir even after twins revelation. This is so pissing off. Now everyone will blame the second generation cast and pranbir for the dip in trps.

I mean I had read on the forum that Aliya on the previous episodes in the 1st season had shown love towards the 1st child of Mr mehra and Pragya.

Aliya had softened towards the child.

I mean this is the height of negativity.Even a criminal once thinks that this person is family.

She has Abhi's blood too.

If she would have tried plotting something that Rhea gets Ranbir AND both the daughters hate their Mother or have to somehow choose their father over their mother.

But no she goes on plotting as if Prachi is another middle class low born she will hate.

He used brains to save Prachi and was funny, smart, brave and Ranjha and non toxic

Now

He is non toxic supportive plus dumb

When they copy KDB stoeyline

He will become cute, dumb and toxic.

There was so many tracks they could have explored but instead they show the Mayas crap for 6 months and running . Its not like Pranbir was not Popular. Their promos used to trend and trps were increaing but now they have made episodes so bad that even i don't enjoy Pranbir scenes like i used to🤢.

They can't afford another year to show reunion track. Kkb now have to compete with BB too and the story there is very good and it has better trps than kkb. So if they make the story more crap no one will watch the show like before. Also IPL is comming up.

Also this new aliya is making things worse. She hasn't been able to fill Aliyas shoes😔. Also they have destroyed Ranbir character.Also there is a spoiler that Prachi will realise her feelings. I hope its incorrect because if she falls so early more trouble for her
