I think prachi's denial due to her and ranbir's class difference is expected from prachi. Prachi has always been very particular about setting boundaries and limits for herself, so even this makes sense. So now ranbir will suspect and realise that prachi is developing feelings for him and will himself bring down those barriers that prachi is putting up and will ease her to accept her feelings.

Yeah,he can even accept rejection if she doesn't feel anything for him. But I don't think he'll accept denial knowing she loves him too but has too many reasons to not be with him
