This is a fun little fanfic I am writing as a form of procrastination from studying. Please do not expect good writing- this is all just for some fun and games!

Also, the initial idea for this story, with a duplicate Abhi being paired up with Munni, came from reading some comments by other members in this IF forum (I'm sorry, I don't know the specific people who were chatting about it but I love you!) so I would like to acknowledge them for inspiring this story.
Prologue:
Pragya-Munni have teamed up, with Pragya entering MM to try and fix things and protect Abhi. Taaliya still think she's Munni. Pragya sends the real Munni off to stay at her friend's place in Delhi in an attempt to keep her out of harm's away and away from the sight of Taaliya.
But Munni has another secret agenda in Delhi. She is aware that the papers she made Abhi sign (giving Alia ownership over all his property) is going to a court/law-firm place in Delhi and she hopes to intercept the delivery of the document, preventing it from ever being enacted. This plan of hers is not known to Pragya- Munni worries Pragya will become too worried for Munni if she finds out Munni is getting involved.

She has just reached Delhi and awaits her transport to Pragya's friend's house, Pragya's friend, Ananya Patil, will be coming to pick her up. This was her first time flying in a plane and her first time in Delhi- she is in awe.

And let the craziness begin!

I: Munni is shell shocked

With her small suitcase, Munni followed the stream of people who she assumed were also trying to exit Delhi airport like her. She couldn't believe this was happening to her- she had just flown all the way from Mumbai to Delhi- she had just come from the skies and landed in yet another unknown world. Just a few days ago she was living the simple life of Munni, taking care of her Chutka and Chutki, working hard to earn enough to meet ends. And then, out of the blue, she was swept off her feet, taken into the world of Pragya and the Mehras, and now, she was in Delhi?! How?! Sure, she had been Munni throughout the whole ordeal but everything had changed- the Munni before had departed, Munni had changed, and she felt fuzzy inside from all the uncertainty.

Munni became aware of the little suitcase rolling behind her as she pulled it along. It felt peculiar- she was so used to always carrying her things on her back or in her arms. But Pragya had given her this little suitcase, packed it with new clothes for her to wear and carefully filled it with necessities. Munni had gotten to know Pragya through living in MM and talking to the Mehras (especially Dadi-Daasi's praises for their pyaari bahu, and the love in the way Abhi talked about her), but meeting her in person was a whole new experience. Pragya was truly incredible. Caring, thoughtful, strong- she had treated Munni with so much love and affection, Munni felt she had found a sister. And Abhi... another incredible person. Abhigya were perfect for each other. She thanked God for letting her meet them and prayed for them to always be together.

Munni looked around in awe as she walked through the airport. Hustling and bustling, people from all over the world, so many things happening at once- Munni wanted to just sit and watch the action but she knew she didn't have much time.

To her relief, she finally found herself outside, and the humidity of the air hit her face like a warm breeze. The warmth of Delhi reminded her that she was indeed very thirsty and thought to ask for water once she met Ananya Patil. She was to be picked in front of a place called... Tharminal 3 (?) as per Pragya's instructions. Confused, she thought to ask someone for directions. Everyone she thought to ask sped passed her, barely paying any attention to her. She looked around and spotted a gentleman, all dapper in a suit with a small suitcase of his own, standing towards the curb, looking out to the cars as if he too was searching for someone. In all these busy people, he seemed the most calm.

Munni walked over to the gentlemen and tapped his back.

"Hallo?! Hallo- do you know where tharminal 3-..." But Munni couldn't continue. She stood shell-shocked, unable to move. The man had turned around to face her, a little stunned himself.

"Yes?" he asked, still confused.

Munni couldn't believe her eyes... her heart was racing. Her first instinct was to turn and run the other way. But what was the use- she had been caught.

"A... Abhisekh?" she somehow managed to say through her shock. "Aap...?"
She couldn't believe her eyes- what was Abhishekh Prem Mehra doing in Delhi?! What must he be thinking, seeing her there too? What was going on? And there was something different about him...

... why was Rockstar wearing glasses? Munni had never noticed that before... and his attitude, the way he carried himself was definitely not the same. He wasn't the confident rockstar she remembered... he almost seemed more... gentle... and something else...

The man, seeing as Munni was not saying anything at all, asked again, "Yes, is there anything I can help with?"

Munni then realised he had not recognised her... but why not?! "Abhisekh... what are you doing here?"

"Abhisekh?... Uhhh... I'm not Abhisekh..."

The day was turning weirder by the second. "Yes you are- you are rockstar Abhisekh Mehra! But why have you come here from Mumbai? What are you doing here?!"

The man looked at her, very confused. "No, my name is Aman. I've just flown down from New York today- I haven't been in India for three years!"

Munni felt her head spinning. So this dapper man was not Abhi, but a bedesi Chashme-wala called Aman! But he looked same-to-same as Abhi!!! How could this be?! Why was the world playing such games on her?!!!

"Tharminal 3...?" she uttered- but her voice sounded alien to her.
"What?" asked Aman- he was becoming more and more confused, and more and more intrigued, by the way this lady was acting. Who was she anyway? Why was she acting so strange?

"Tharminal 3... sir, do you know where tharminal 3 is?" Munni managed to say.

"Tharminal 3? Oh, you mean terminal 3?!" Aman smiled, amused. Munni noticed his thin-framed glasses move up with his cheek. The same smile- just like Abhi's! And the glasses- very similar to the ones Munni had seen in pictures of Pragya around MM! This was all so strange!!!

"You are standing in front of Terminal 3- just wait here." Aman said with a friendly smile.

"Oh, that's good then. Ananya-di will pick me up from here then," Munni said, more to herself. She was still shell-shocked and shaken.

"Did you just say 'Ananya'?" Aman asked, surprised.

"Yes, Ananya... Ananya Pa-something..."

"'Ananya Patil'?" the man asked, eyes wide behind the glasses.

"Yes, that's the one! Ananya Patil... but how did you know that...?"

Aman turned to face Munni front on now, now extremely engaged with this amusing stranger. "Because she's my cousin and she's coming to pick me up too!"

Munni was ready to faint. Not only was she very thirsty and feeling warm, this was all too much for her. The world had won. World 1, Munni 0. And she was out. The last thing she remembered was feeling herself fall to the cooler pavement below.

That's the first installment! Hope you enjoyed it! I can't guarantee continuing it anytime soon due to studies but I hope I've inspired some people to at least imagine what could happen next! I just thought a smart, dapper, refined Abhi-look-alike from overseas would make an interesting love interest of our awesome Munni!
