So dadi and daasi are decorating the room for pusha SR. Mithali was there too. And she ran out of the room to tell taaliya pusha are having their sr. Disha was also with dadi and dasi and Mithali. So I thought this was going on in MM.

Then they showed Aliya come to his apartment, take the key in the planter, and go in to destroy the decorations.

It's so messed up. 😕😆

That was a quick edit of scenes, was confusing at first but finally got to understand it.. but my only unhappiness was with Mithali going to Purab's house along with Daadis.. why would they take her along? so that she can come back and inform Aaliya.. that was so lame to show Mithali and Aaliya knowing things happening at Purab's house also..

What ever lame excuses they may want to take, Purab's room catching fire will make Dishrab not having a place to sleep for the night so eventually they may land back in MM to stay for few days..

Ease of logistics, production costs and shell out mechanisms to showcase how Aliya targets Disha more comfortably and frequently within MM by not letting her get close to Purab..😛
