Now regarding Abhi's definition of love. Just think about it! Forget every other track and only this one right now. He was confused between Tanu and Pragya. He knew Tanu ki image ka sawal hai and her mother is dying. He knew that.. but still he wanted to know Pragya loves him or not. He made her confess for his own satisfaction. But then just a reminder from Tanu's mom and wait Pragya, sorry I caanot marry you. It's like you give an appointment to someone and when they are ready you say, sorry I have to go somewhere, I can't come. Am I glad he made a decision? Why would I? I am not at all glad.. I have always said this that Abhi is late in taking actions. And this time he realized it too late that Tanu is the right choice (whatever the reasons he give). Lol cards bat gaye hain was one of them!!
Nainz, now go back to the time when Tanu's pregnancy started. He wasn't ready to believe Tanu is pregnant. Tanu was proved pregnant. And he couldn't do anything. Sorry guys, is this possible that we slept with someone and we'll not know anything about it the next day!! Like physically... Sorry for sounding awkward or creepy and I am thinking way too logical but when we can expect Pragya to fight with her legs when her hands are tied we can also expect Abhi to stick to his decision that he did nothing wrong with Tanu and Tanu is not pregnant with his child. Thats my issue. Abhi always has the excuse that he doesn't "know" so how could he act?
Guys. Its really simple. I walk into exams knowing nothing. Just did it this morning. Does it mean I have an excuse for possibly failing that exam? That saying "Oh she didn't study, its okay" is gonna cut it? Helll to the No!! And what if Im reading the wrong material for the exam and someone knows abt it and doesnt tell me Im looking at the wrong material?? Doesnt mean I can easily throw the blame for failing on others. Its MY FAULT as to why I didn't study and look up and up my act last night and didn't study as much as I should have. Exams are supposed to trip you, ESP if you know nothing on that exam.
Similarly, you're not supposed to know everything in life. Thats where you use common sense and go back and figure out what gaps are missing in your knowledge and FILL THEM IN!! And Abhi has done ZILCH in the ML track to fill those gaps in, though he's had deja-vu more than a couple of times about possibly being married, and seeing Pragz in those visuals, and having flashbacks of her...but yeah, just because he knows nothing all the time, him being totally passive about his life is absolutely okay.

I'm okay with him going ahead with a decision Mitsu. i knew it was going to end up with him going to the altar/mandap with Tanu either way. But like you said, him choosing to forego responsibilities THEN and keep LOVE a greater priority by pushing Pragz to confess to him and confessing Pragz was a hugeee no no. Especially from an "usooli" guy. Whatever Tanu's mom told him was old news. Remember, thats why Tabhi's wedding was happening so immediately anyways, because Aunty is about to leave the world and would like to see her Chudail bachi's happiness?
Usools were already broken when he confessed to her because as Tanu's fiance, he was going ahead and sealing the deal with Pragz. Taking it back the next second by putting Tanu above Pragya for a reason that was already known to him beforehand was the most un-usooli thing he could do.
