Alia convinces Abhi to get purab & pragya married ?- Article

The Aaliya-Tanu v/s Pragya-Purab war for Abhi (Shabir Ahluwalia) is just going on and on forever. Aaliya and Tanu plan to get Abhi drunk so she (Tanu) can seduce him and sleep with him. In his state of intoxication, Abhi sees Pragya's (Sriti Jha) face in Tanu and even dances with her. Purab's quick thinking, however, saves the day and Abhi-Tanu land up in jail. Pragya and Purab bail Abhi out of the jail but refuse to help Tanu. In fact, Pragya even refuses to recognise her in front of the police inspector. Purab asks Pragya to leave with Abhi since he has to finish formalities at the police station. Abhi and Pragya share some cute romantic moments with each other.

Purab runs into Aaliya outside the police station and they have a verbal spat. Purab challenges Aaliya to try and separate Abhi-Pragya from each other. Aaliya then calls the pandit who says that the sangeet function will have to be performed on that day itself. Aaliya and Tanu even somehow talk Abhi into agreeing for the function. This doesn't go well with Purab who lashes out at Abhi for making the wrong choice. He even takes Pragya's actual name by mistake which confuses Abhi.

After Purab storms out of the room, Abhi starts wondering where he has heard the name Pragya before and tries to remember it. Meanwhile, Pragya meets with Abhi's doctor to devise a plan to bring Abhi's memory back.

In the upcoming episode, not only does Aaliya make all the arrangements for Abhi and Tanu's sangeet but she also talks Abhi into getting Purab married to Pragya.

Abhi hesitantly accepts that Pragya and Purab might be right for each other. Much to everyone's surprise, Purab confesses that he is in love with Pragya.

Obviously, he says that so Abhi can realise his true feelings for Pragya but it's going to be fun watching Abhi envy Purab-Pragya and Tanu envy the fact that Abhi still can't take his eyes off Pragya.

This looks like the perfect setting for Bulbul to return, as she and she alone can sabotage a Purgya nuptual

Yes, this can be the right time for Bulbul to make an entry. If the writers can do something like that and change the story line completely to a new angle, then we can forgive them for showing us repeated unwanted craps till now. They can even bring back Kumkum bhagya's original magic and if they can bring back Mrunal it will do wonders for the story, she and Purab fighting against Aalya and Tanu will truly be fun and the focus can shift from continuous Pragya torture who has undergone all sorts of it and Bulbul can make Abhi start thinking in different angles, she will have the same type of influence Aalya has but in a good, positive manner.

I don't think this is about making Abhi jealous. I feel it's about Aliya and Purab. Either BB or another girl for Purab. It's time for a jolt in the show.

I feel that pragya will agree to this plan as it will make abhi get back his lost memory as the doc has suggested.

@GB, I was wondering about the X-rays too:). When did they take Abhi to the doctor and take x rays?? How can he say patient is making progress without even seeing the patient?? That scene was an eyewash. Nothing to do with bringing back his memory.

GBSC, Indian TV doesn't know the first thing about medical science, so don't base your conclusions on what they've shown here.

Abhi's memory loss condition is dealt so lousy in this soap by the characters and by the soap itself. Shame!

By she you mean Aliya? If you meant Aliya didn't she say she doesn't love him anymore?

BB would be my first choice, but at this point I'd like to see Purab have someone in his life:) if they don't want to bring back BB:(
