Today's Highlights! GIF Edition

Me watching ALL of Abhigya's scenes today:
THEY ARE CUTIESPIESSS!! I dont think I ever wanted Abhigya babies so much, because they either weren't being cute at the same time or they weren't at the right phase in their relationship or maybe because Tanu's damn pregnancy took SO DARN LONG that I was getting unfazed by seeing an Abhigya baby. But after today's episode, I want to see my babies having babies!! 😳 Jaldi Jaldi!
OKAY. SO.
I really do love Abhi. If I didn't, I wouldnt want him to end up with Pragya. I'd want her to move on, get married to someone else, see her happy and that would be it. But I want Abhi to win her, I want them to be happy forever together, and I want them BOTH to have a happy wonderful ever after! So its because I care for you and love you that I get so frustrated with you.
Thing with Abhi is, its always this:
Its always me me me me me. If Sarla got kidnapped, its his misery. If Tanu got pregnant and Abhigya are trying to figure out how to spill it out, he thought it'd be easy when she goes back home but its him that has to suffer. When Bulbul got injured, he only thought about his sorrow. When Bulbul died, he only ridiculed her ghum, thinking it was him that lost a sister, not her. When MMS happened, he thought about HIS image. Its ALWAYS ABOUT HIM. Whenever chaos strikes for either Abhi or Pragya, he panics and whines about how all the bad, all the sorrow, all the misery happens to HIM. So its very hard for me to defend him when he's only thinking about himself. Even yesterday, his lines were unfazing to me when he was saying how he'll be by her side even though she betrayed HIM and didn't tell HIM anything and because nothing in HIS life gets done without her. OMG. HOWW self-centered, my goodness! When she suffers, she thinks about HIM first. So it'd be nice to see him think of her too. Its not abt self respect. Its just she's selfless and he's selfish. Plain and simple.

Having said that, this was me today after watching Abhi's scenes:

I'm still skeptical, since I know Pragya's buddhu will do something buddhu-like again real soon. Therefore that face is so apt. But today, it was all about her. He wanted to buy her baby a gift, he wanted her to know that he wants to be there for her, he'll go find the guy who impregnated her and bring him by the ear to apologize and make amends. He wants to pick out names and even give his surname if she needs his support (IDK what that meant tbh...Abhi tumhe shaadi karni hogi usse?) He doesn't want her to do any kaam and is super frantic about her well-being. NICE JOB BAE. You did not even once mention any of your sufferings or complaints...because this isn't about you! And I'm so proud!
This is one of the FEW TIMES that Abhi has actually wanteddd to be morally and emotionally there for her and has been proactive about his responsibilities towards Pragya. And its ironic, because he has no idea about his hubby role in her life!
How Pragya is seeing this new side of Abhi:

I think she's just as dazed by Bae as the rest of us. This is based on a conversation between me and a few undisclosed forum members (I dont want to take credit for the brilliant thoughts that they shared). But basically, old Abhi was a grouch. LIKE HUGE GROUCH. And another member mentioned how maybe it was because of this suppressed, subconscious guilt of how much wrong he did in Pragya's life (married her out of revenge, so many misunderstandings, you name it dude) and how he just COULD NOT believe that she still ended up loving him despite all that. Like maybe he was always a grouch and rude with her and so quick-tempered because he was unwilling to shed his rough exterior, scared to question how she saw him through the cracks and fell in love with him?
VERSUS... NEW sweet and cuddly, sometimes totally mislead and mostly oblivious, Abhi who is nothing but kind and soft. Because he doesn't have any remembrance of a past he should feel guilty for. I'm sorry, this Abhi was NOWHERE to be seen until now. I still remember Abhi who went to a wake ceremony for money. This Abhi is not that old Abhi. And I'll take ML ABHI over Hotter but hella grumpy Abhi anyday please and thank you!!
I think Pragya is just as shocked to see such a doting side of him. Sure they didn't really get a good chance for her to see his love, but then again, she fell in love with a guy who hated her vs Abhi fell in love with a girl who loved him. That says a lot.
About PRAGYA:
Honestly, yes she should tell him. There is no need for proofs. There is no need to listen to Daadi whose advice is honestly useless what.so.ever. But I really think she's just done with Taaliyah. She's past exasperation of being accused. And she knows why they did that-to make it look like she got pregnant out of wedlock so that Abhi gets disgusted and maintains distance from her. But just the opposite happened-he became more protective and wants to be there for her at all times! LIKE WHAT AN EPIC FAIL. And maybe this is like a revenge/strike back from Pragya to Taalu (Can we call Taaliyah Taalu?). By doing absolutely nothing to negate their trap, she's still winning. How ever-so-frustrating for Taalu??
Also random additional sidenote-the Bae always needed proofs. Its only the grand finale of the last track where they showed Abhi's growth as a character that he didn't need proofs. Otherwise, her past with him is only that he's needed proofs and she's had to be proven innocent a few times this track as well for Abhi to shake out of misunderstandings about her. 😕 So he's not really given her the greatest of experiences from which she could be ever so sure that he wont need proof.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST: THESE ARE MAJOR TANGENTS BUT I WANTED TO INCLUDE THEM.

This movie was about Bunny, who was a major flirt, who wasn't really looking for love. Just for flings here and there and thats it. He didn't want to commit and settle down and have that "ghar-type mahaul"/homely lifestyle. Whereas Naina did. She wanted a nice peaceful life with her hubby. And though they were both attracted to each other, he didn't pursue her further because he thought "she was made for love" and not just as someone you could date for a definite period. I sometimes think current Abhigya is this. Like yeah, maybe he's attracted (vs her head over heels over him), but he doesn't think much about his attachment towards her because he just sees their lifestyles as being poles apart. He knows she's not someone who's going to date him. She's marriage material, with a nice, humble lifestyle, which doesn't necessarily match his celeb lifestyle.
Or they're like Rahul and Anjali. He thinks of her as his BFF. She likes him and is always there for him. But he's grown up thinking he has to fall in love with a stereotypical hot girl, which when he finds, thinks is the one. He realizes only a little too late that its not the physicality, but the heart, the mindset, the values, the friendship, the soulmate that he had in his BFF that he was in love with.
Only setback is he kinda only realized it once Anjali got hot. So maybe Mogambo needs to make a re-entry!! 😳
