Intimidated to Show Married Life.

Hi Ladies!
Seeing a lot of frustration in general about the show and though it makes me sad, I can understand why that frustration is building up.

I was walking down the streets in a town called Fez this morning and there were so many tourists, mostly newly married couples, that were just enjoying the architecture, the high dense culture, the pottery, craftsmenship and most of all, just the presence of each other. And me, being single and with no life outside of KKB I guess, automatically thought, this would be such a great place for Abhigya to come on their honeymoon! Or even after maybe a child or two, they can come and escape realities of parenting and a busy rockstar-professor life to rekindle some nice quality time together.

Did the last few sentences make you laugh? It made me laugh after I thought about them. Because A) Abhigya having a married life has not yet been seen and B) I totally forgot that what they have shown since episode 50 is ABHIGYA'S MARRIED LIFE! They've been married all this time, but not together enough to enjoy any part of their marriage together. They hold onto small eyelocks, maybe a few hugs here and there, and most of all, their nok jhoks. But besides that, they dont really have any memory to be called significant to their marriage (except for their marriage ceremony maybe).

SOO. My question is-WHY? Why do you think CVs dont want to go ahead and show Abhigya problems in a normal married life? Every now and then I scroll over to other shows and see what they're showing, and yes, there are shows that are doing worse. And we should consider ourselves lucky. But then there ARE shows that show the leads that have overcome their problems early in marriage, finally come together, and now face problems post that "are we married/do we love each other" phase! How about Abhigya having come together and now are trying to struggle to find time for one another? Or Pragya pregnancy track? Or Abhi trying to help Purab move on, but Pragya still missing Bulbul (and Bulbul could possibly show up maybe)? Of Pragya wanting to work again, and while Abhi is supportive, misunderstandings occur then?

Drama is bound to happen, misunderstandings are inevitable in a TV soap. But I'm unable to understand why CVs are so scared to take a step forward?

Any thoughts?

I read an article (a good one) about TV soaps a long time ago. It said TV shows go downhill after the lead couple unite.
I have seen other shows uniting couples briefly and then separating them. But KB has adopted a different formula where they don't unite at all.

I think what sells for "love stories" is the anticipation part in these soaps.

Moreover, they are trying to show Abhi and Pragya as "made for each other" type couple (which I ever refuse to buy, but that's a different matter). So if they are given a happy life, there will be no issues. Like I don't see Pragya having major issues with Abhi/marriage.. And I don't see Abhi having much issues with Pragya either.. So their characters are built that way perhaps that if they are united and do not have MUs, they have no reason to have issues. So CVs may not want to show them as a couple with issues but they want to show how others cause issues to them.

Simple they are lazy & arrogant to use their brains & show some real stuff. Especially I have never seen EK serials showing married life between leads.

Hi Naina! Fez sounds cute. Hope you're having fun in your travels:)!

I'd love to see a happy abhigya off on their honeymoon and was expecting one back around epi 60. Jail is they went, lol! IDK, I don't think writers are intimidated, but this is not meant to be a typical love story going into happy married life. Getting the evasive guy is the focus. The terrible journey more than the destination. This has worked so far ratings, money, and awards wise. This is what sets this show apart from the others.

Naina, are you back? Hope your trip was good and productive😃.
Ofcourse, the writers are intimidated to show Abhi, Pragya as a real married couple with a life after marriage. I don't know if they think they made a mistake by marrying them off, so early in the show and they are being passive agressive about it and not letting them unite?😡

Did they actually want TaBhi as a couple, but paid Sriti as a lead and so they are doing this? I know this is all gibberish, but can't help thinking along these lines.

If for whatever reason this show is taken off air at this moment, we will have had 90% of the time YKW is either GF, hone waali biwi or meri bache ki maa, hanging on to Abhi and probably 5% of the time Abhi, Pragya were meri biwi and 5% of the time in oblivion🤢
