Pragya was already in the room when Abhi become conscious and asked the nurse for his family. He saw her but didn't recognize her. And we know he saw her in his concert and pulled her on to the stage. He didn't freak out or go into shock when he saw her. Maybe not a wife right now, but they could have said she's a friend or distant family member or works at his office. They made a big blunder.
