Abhigya Drabble: First Kiss

A/N: Hello!! I'm back...again!! Yes I know I keep coming and going but that's life. I found this buried under the millions of things I have saved all over the place and thought of bringing in some fluff whilst waiting for this memory track to go...somewhere.

Thank you Mina di...for the prompt and encouraging me to write this when I did...and being very enthusiastic about me posting it :)

No intention to copy anyone's work...I havent been on the forum for a while so if you see anything similar let me know and I will acknowledge the author.

Original prompt: Imagine your OTP running away from teachers/police/authorities and to hide in plain sight Person A grabs Person B and pushes them up against the wall and kisses them.

Pragya never quite understood why she always got sucked into doing what he wanted. Most of the times it was dangerous, stupid or plain wrong. But she couldn't knowingly let him get into trouble, so figuring that if she was along, at least she'd be able to talk him out of it. At some stage.

Today, he was trying to get back the phones their teacher had confiscated for the week. He had been using it to message Tanu, who had been sitting across the room. She had warned him multiple times that the teacher was looking their way, but when had he ever listened to her?

"Hurry up rockstar!" she hissed. "Someone is going to come and we'll both get into trouble. What is taking you so long anyways?"

"Ey Fuggy...Shut up. It's harder than it looks. The video made picking the lock look so easy." he grunted back, still trying to get the door open.

Huffing she tried pushing him aside. Getting the hint, he moved slightly so she could look at the lock.

"Rockstar you're not doing it right. Here give it to me." she asked for the pin that he was trying to use. Pulling a longer one from her hair, she bit her lip as she concentrated. Normally, she never condoned such behaviour, but he was her best friend so she'd break her own rule and help him.

Finally hearing the click of the lock, she let out the breath she was holding. "Hurry up. Go. I'll keep watch...and you owe me one...big time."

She knew he liked Tanu, he'd been talking about her nonstop and had finally started chatting to her. and in an attempt to get her to go out with him, he had promised that he would get her phone back.

After searching frantically through Mrs. Sharma's desk, he finally found Tanu's phone and his own. just as he was about to grab them he heard her calling him, "Abhishek! Hurry, she is back!" Shutting the drawer, he remembered to turn the lock and pull the door. But he was too late, Mrs. Sharma had seen them and had called out to them, "Stop! What were you doing in my office?"

"Run Fuggy" he grabbed her hand and started sprinting down the corridor. Pragya was already panting as she tried keeping up. This was precisely the reason she was an academic scholar. They could hear the footsteps getting closer as they turned the corner and voices joined asking what was happening.

"Rockstar this is all your fault. Let me wait here. I'll tell Mrs. Sharma I was looking for her. I've not been in much trouble so it shouldn't be a problem. Go with the phones." she spoke as she gulped down air.

"Are you mad Fuggy? I'm not leaving you. Come on..Only a few more minutes. We just need to find somewhere to hide." he pulled her again and started hurrying. He knew most of the shortcuts around school and figured the best place was behind the stands in the field.

"There they are. Catch them." She'd sighted them in the distance and Abhi saw the school's peon almost catching up to them. Extra activities meant that there would be more people there and they could hopefully get lost in the crowd.

The peon had nearly caught up as the reached the stands and not knowing how to avoid being caught, Abhi suddenly he stopped and looked down at Pragya, "Fuggy do you trust me?"

"Abhishek! Now is not the time. They'll be here soon. We need to go now!"

"Fuggy answer me."

"Yes rockstar I trust you. Lets go!" she replied tugging his hand to get him to move.

Turning them around, he gently pushed her against the wall and moved closer to her.

"R...r...rockstar...what are you doing?"

"Its the best way Fuggy." And then he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers.

Her eyes fluttered close even as her brain tried processing what was happening; he was kissing her...her...his best friend...his Fuggy. And it felt so right. His tongue licked her lip and her mouth automatically parted slightly. His tongue darted in her mouth and he deepened the kiss, one of his hands pulling her waist closer and the other running through her hair.

Her hands moved up his chest and into his hair as she fit herself against him. A small voice in his head asked him what he was doing but his mouth seemed to be fused to hers and didn't want to let go. He could just make out a voice asking where they'd gone over the rush of blood in ears. He had kissed before but none had ever affected him so much.

She was the first to break away..her eyes still slightly glazed, she looked up at him for an explanation. He was trying to come to his senses so he could explain...This was his best friend...why then did he want to kiss her again? He had never thought of her that way.

Till now.

"Fuggy, they're gone. I thought they might not notice us if we were partially hidden." He hand was still around her waist. Unsure as to whether he was supporting her or himself, he left it there.

"Quick thinking Rockstar." noticing the worried look on his face she added softly, "It was...nice. But you like Tanu...Maybe you should let go in case someone sees and tell her?"

Her hand was playing with the hair at his nape and the graze of fingers was distracting him. Adding in the need of wanting to kiss her again, he almost missed what she said, "Who Tanu? Forget her Fuggy."

And giving in to that need,he pulled her close and kissed her again.
