Pragya is shattered that Abhi doesnt recognize her but everyone else in his family. Doctors do some tests and discover that Abhi has forgot the past 3 years of his life.
Daadi: Forgot? How could he? *cries*
Purab: What do you mean he forgot? When will he remember? What should we do to get his memory back?
Doctor: He may get his memory back one day. But we can't predict how much time it will take. It may even take years in some cases.
Purab: If we tell him, he will remember?
Doctor: Yes, but dont force him to remember things and dont remind him of anything emotional as his brain cant handle much stress.
Pragya walks to the corridor and sits on a chair. She was thinking of starting a new life with him but now he doesnt remember their marriage. In a single day, she had become a stranger to him. Purab, Daadi, Akash and everyone else feels bad for Pragya. They dont know how to console her.
Aaliyah comes to Pragya and drags her towards Abhi's room.
Pragya: Leave my hand. *tries to take Aaliyah's hand off her but couldn't*
Aaliyah doesnt listen to her.
Aaliyah: Bhai
Abhi: Hey Aaliyah. Where did everyone go? and who is this?
Aaliyah: She is your wife.
Abhi: What?
Pragya: What are you doing?
Abhi: What kind of prank is this Aaliyah?
Aaliyah takes her mobile phone and searches for their wedding pics online.
Pragya sees that.
Pragya: What are you doing? Dont you know he shouldnt take stress? You shouldn't be doing this now.
Aaliyah: Bhabhi, I know what I am doing. Please be silent.
Abhi: Bhabhi?
Aaliyah shows him his wedding photo and Abhi is shocked. Soon everyone comes in and they support Aaliyah's statement. Abhi is utterly confused.
Nurse comes in and tells them that it's time for his medication and he should sleep after that. Everyone leave Abhi as he is given injection.
Pragya follows Aaliyah.
Pragya: Why did you do this? Is this one of your dramas?
Aaliyah: What did you think? That I did all this for you. Never. I did this for my Bhai. I know you love him more than anyone else and for him, you are his life. He might not remember you now but his heart belongs to you. My brother deserves to be happy and he deserves someone who loves him to death. *wipes tears*
Pragya is dumbfounded to talk anything.
Aaliyah: and dont you ever imagine that I would apologize for all the wrongs I did to you. However cruel I might sound, I wouldn't apologize to you.
