So guys, I was thinking. If we can please leave aside business reasons like showing Pragya crying and struggling is good for ratings reason. And if we can please leave aside villains' and Abhi.
Why is happiness and love not within her reach? What's one thing you think she should be doing differently?
Of course, you remember this is Pragya/Sriti AT! 😆 How can we help Pragya? Love to hear your opinions. 😊
Leaving aside everything else...
Happiness isn't within her reach because its not her priority. And when its not your priority and you dont have a big healthy support system, its hard to attain that happiness. They dont really dwell on her past life, but it seems she didn't have an easy childhood, with no father figure around. Nor was she care-free like Bulbul, because of the responsibilities that were placed on her. Bulbul was looking for a job in the first few episodes whereas Pragya had been shown to be working for a long time. RoDaadi couldn't be as close to Pragya because Pragya isn't care-free, like Bulbul.
For some reason, Sarla put a huge emphasis on getting married. Maybe due to her own past, but Pragya felt pressurized to get married. Tarun ended up only being interested in whether she was bringing a good dowry. Suresh, though a good friend, admitted he harbored feelings for Bulbul. Along with not having her father alongside them (they always made it look like he left them vs death). So there is this constant cycle of being rejected that could also add to her feelings of not being worthy of happiness. Instead of self-pity, she just kinda ended up thinking its her responsibility to give love, not get that love back.
Her recent dialogue to Abhi was that she'll start being more care-free...so we might have gotten a Pragya who cares about her wants and dreams and happiness. But nope, CVs were like, picture abhi baaki hai!
