I'm surprised that majority thinks he would have believed right away...
This crime is so major that it would be so difficult to believe it right away... At that time tanu wasn't bad in eyes... He knew that she cares for money but this is thing is too big to believe immediately.. First reaction would be denial but after thinking deeply he would have believed it...

writers are dont have anything else to write --then how come pragya going to tell truth in august 2015..??

Abhi will have believed but after initial confusion. He was shattered thinking he was the father, he was in regretting mode, so much had happened. So, he would not have believed instantly. But, he would think, remember, he hadn't done anything with Tanu, and eventually believed. But he would also investigate, in his way, all in open not like team's way. Then he would have thrown Tanu, get her out of his life completely. And Abhigya would have lived happily, a normal life, Abhi and his fuggy, teasing each other, fighting each other and bring romantic too.

Ps: I so so so didn't like Mogambo track, wanted to believe it was dream or something. But nothing of such happened.

Even I am surprised! I myself voted for option 2! It is very hard to beleive and Abhi would have shocked and be in denial for a bit I feel.

Wow!! Tia!!! Me too!!! I would be too much happy if all this would be dream. I even now don't understand the hiding truths concept!! Abhi being innocent was a shock to her but would not be to him na, she knew that she herself had convinced Abhi about Tanu being mother of his child. I can't get over with this thing even now!! She could tell that to Dadi but not him who had the right to know!!

I can't move forward to that even though I tried hard.

Exactly, agree with you. Yes, she loves him dearly and she thinks she doing all this, for him only. But where is her logic in this!! Simply telling truth would have made all the people's life easy. All plotting and planning, I don't understand because I don't understand they main part, hiding truths from ABHI whom she claims she loves. I believe we don't hide truths from them whom we love.
