Tues June 7 epi Daljeet Rani's Indecent Proposal
Upclose - Good change from the last few dark Tanu epis. Light and kinda funny. Honestly, I do watch the show to get a few laughs and forget my day. Nikhil set the tone for today's epi - about food and tears. He ate his noodles alone, and his baby mama doesn't cry for him. But Praggy made sandwiches and abhigya got closer. Dadi -induced Praggy's tears got her Abhi's attention. Not what I want to see! But it worked.
That sandwich scene in the kitchen had a different feel. Good acting by Shabir and Sriti. 👍🏼 It was a good scene and it wasn't. Didn't happen on its own. Why do these 2 have no control over their own lives?
Step back a bit - And you see a challenge between dadi and Tanu. Ayyo! Dadi stooped too low. So Tanu just knows Abhi for 5 years and she's using his weakness. And that makes dadi think she could do the same. If dadi had let Abhi and Pragya get close, Tanu would have been out of MM 300 epis ago.
Dadi filling Abhi with Pragya loves him, somewhere inside she's Fuggy, looks beautiful, good heart, has moeny ... AHHH 🤢😡. I don't want to see this. In her day Dev Anand was hot. Like Abhi is now for Pragya? A dadi comparing a hot guy of her day to her grandson now - 👎🏼😲turn-off! Meddling dadi. Maybe dadi wanted to scare Abhi his money may go bye-bye if he doesn't get Pragya. That someone else could enjoy his money? Money talks for Abhi.
If dadi wanted abhigya to get closer, how is proposing a solution? I thought he knows she's fuggy. He already proposed, so I don't get this proposing thing... Instead of mission proposal, just tell Abhi the baby truth, dadi. Daljeet dadi is looking a lot like Tanu now.
Dadi twisting Abhi's ears and Abhi dangling between Pragya and Tanu takes away any serious feel for the show!
Step way back - So many statements about women today:
Nikhil says if he had a biwi at least he'll get khaana. Best chefs are men, Nikhil! You don't have to be a woman to cook, man.
And the way to Abhi's heart is through tears. Well, Abhi's tears melt Praggy's heart actually.
Hmm... women manipulate through their tears. Interesting he said that. Next thing we see is Praggy crying on dadi's lap, Abhi sees that and feels weird. Now they made Praggy the crying and pouting type. That's not Praggy.
OMG! Just the idea of Tanu and dadi pushing Abhi's buttons to get what they want is insulting. So women are petty in their cat fights and treat men like yo-yo's. Pragya is caught between dadi and Tanu though - terrible.
Super weird epi. Face value - ok epi. Step back - hollow.
