Hey guys this is my second attempt on writing. I hope u like it. 😊
Abhi walks out of the building and steps onto the pavement. He looks up at the the dark night sky and sighs. The stars are completely blocked by dark clouds and the moon is nowhere to be seen. Moments like this, Abhi really regrets never carrying around a flashlight because right now it looks like the darkness is going to swallow him up and he does not like it one bit.
Cursing at himself, he takes out his phone and tries to turn it on but to his avail it's not opening. Abhi shoves his phone into his bag and start's speed walking down the road, grumbling under his breath about how he will never stay back in the studio until 1:00 am ever again.
As he walks he starts to feel more and more uneasy. There isn't a single light on and the streets are deserted. He can't help but feel like he's being followed and there's an intense cloud of paranoia hanging around him.
Just as he rounds the corner to the road where the small apartment he shares with his wife pragya can be seen. As he hears a twig snap behind him. It takes him a second to register what he had just heard before he widens his eyes and starts sprinting as fast as he can towards his apartment building's door. His heart pounding in his chest, he breathes out a small prayer as the door comes closer into his view.
"Please god let me get home safe. I can't leave the others just yet. I can't leave thus world this soon. I want my Fuggi with me. "
He pulls his keys out of his pocket just as he reaches the door and without even thinking he slams it open and punches the elevator buttons to get to his floor.
Even though he's safe now he speed walks towards the apartment door.
" I hate those stars today.. At least I could have seen more clearly if you hadn't hidden behind the clouds.", he mummer as he reaches his apartment door.
Abhi pushes his keys into the door knob and twists them around, unlocking the door. He walks into the dark apartment and he throws his keys onto the sofa. The whole apartment is dark and it looks like Fuggi is asleep.
He toes of his shoes and drops his bag to the floor before walking to his room and opening the door. Pragya is sitting on their bed, eyes on her novel and patiently waiting.
She looks up when Abhi walks into the room and smiles. "Hey Abhi." she says and gets up, putting her novel down on the small dresser. Her smile turns into a slight frown when Abhi walks straight over to her and hugs her without even saying a word.
Don't get her wrong, pragya really liked the hug but Abhi was never really into skinship so it was a bit overwhelming and unusual. She wraps her arms around Abhi and pushes her face into the the crook of Abhi's neck.
"Abhishek? Is everything okay?" she asks softly. In response, Abhi just pulls back and looks at her with a small grin on his face.
"Yeah, everything's fine." He says before grabbing pragya's t-shirt and pulling her in for a kiss.
Their lips meet and pragya feels fireworks explode around her. The feeling of her soft lips slowly moving against abhi's chapped ones sends shivers down her spine. A small smile plays on her lips as he wraps his arms around Abhi 's neck.
After a few seconds of pure ecstasy, Abhi pulls back and grabs the pragya's hand, dragging her towards the direction of the bed and gently pushing her onto it. He takes his jacket off and throws it to the floor before climbing into bed and wrapping his arms around pragya, the latter responding by snuggling into Abhi's chest.
"I love you." pragya says and looks up into his abhi's eyes.
Abhi looks into pragya's bright eyes and at that moment he sees the stars twinkling in his lovers sparkling orbs.
"I love you too." he says before closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep, the last thing on his mind being the sight of pragya smiling up at him with stars in his eyes.
