He's done this before. Told her he needed her breath to live when he was rescuing her from the balcony ledge at Purab's apartment. Then brutally rejected her two minutes later. I don't remember his words then but something to the effect of I wish you were dead was possibly uttered.

This after he went out of his way to save her life, and convinced her to come to safety by telling her she lives in his heart.

There are probably other instances but that one...really sticks in my mind.

She explained today she did it to save his image in front of his fans. He doesn't know how to be grateful 😛

Oh and Prani not just his words. His actual violence doesn't affect her. Except for the drunk MMS scene, she's never been angry at any time he manhandles her. And of course the slap, which appeared not to bother her at all.

Some really serious recurring motifs of dysfunction between these two if you stop to remember it

There is a part of me that's more comfortable with the angry Abhi who says things without any self control. All the contradictory things he yells and bellows out, as nasty and abusive as they sound somehow seem acceptable from Abhi. He reminds me of Stanley Kowalski character in streetcar named desire play. Sort of a raw and unprocessed person.

Pragya said she did april fool drama when she said i love you.. But she had best opportunity to ask him same thing.. He also lied to her in front of tanus parents and fixed his marriage.. He also did same thing na..

He can do anything which can hurt pragya if truth comes out sone day... But pragya cant do such things.. Like what..????

Dnt know why pragya always tried to hide such things.. Never thought to confront him..I know it would have hurt him but sach toh kadwa hota hai.. Aur aise logo ko aina dikhana zaroori hota hai.

But Pragya rationalizing and romanticizing every abusive reaction and behavior bothers me more. Even if she doesn't bring it up with him now, I'd like to see her condemn that behavior at least to herself. I don't want to see this as a strength, as knowing how to handle him. That's bull!! Know what i mean, Mina??

I think that's part of why I liked today's scene and wasn't more than nominally agitated by the 'I will kill you scene.' I understood his anger and could relate to/accept the way he was expressing it. A raw and unprocessed person, expressing anger and distress - without any of the snakiness and intentional wiles he also sometimes displays.

Prani I wish I could even agree that Pragya rationalizes and romanticizes. I don't think she does. I think it's all just baseline acceptable to her. She doesn't have to filter or contextualize it. That really annoys me. But I definitely agree it is not a strength. Being able to absorb every kind of blow to herself is not an entirely good quality. It's really not that she knows how to handle him - she often doesn't. She just doesn't value herself to begin with, when it comes to things like this.

Blah. Also my sister just put on How to Get Away with Murder so I'm super distracted. Will check in later for more talk 😆

same here yaar.. Muje bhi bada pasand aya ye color.. After I got this color I m not commenting on every post.. Stopped visiting AT's.. I dnt want to loose this color.. 😆
