All is well between the recently married couple Abhi and Pragya. They now manage the business together, live harmoniously with their family and are extremely happy. Everything seems almost perfect, until this one night...
*Abhi walks into his room casually to find Pragya sitting on the bed, her head in her hands*
Abhi (A): You okay there, Fuggy? Listen, tomorrow we have to get up early for work. Mr Tandon wants to hold a meeting- *suddenly hears Pragya sobbing, stops in his tracks, unsure of what to do*- Are you crying?
Pragya doesn't respond, sitting still on the bed. Worried, Abhi quickly sits next to her and tries to pull Pragya's hands away from her face unsuccessfully.
A: Ey, Fuggy! Look at me! I said, look at me! Why are you crying? You're worrying me!
P: *sobs* I will never look at you again! *Abhi has finally managed to wrench her hands away only to see Pragya's 'tear-streaked' face*.
A: Why? What have I done?! Fuggy? Don't do this to me! Tell me- what have I done this time?!
P: This time?! Hah! How many times have you done this, I will never know! I'll never trust you again! *sobs, pulling her face away from Abhi who is trying to hold onto her cheeks*
A: You are seriously worrying me now... speak to me, Pragya! What have I done?!
P: *amazingly dramatic- what she'd imagine would happen in the books she reads* Oh, what haven't you done?! You have ruined me! What did I do to deserve this- why me?! I have only loved you- is that my crime?!
A: *realises Pragya's up to something and mumbles-* No, quite the contrary. It seems, me falling for you was the bigger crime...
P: *lashes out at Abhi* What did you say?!!!
A: N-nothing! Now tell me, what did I do?!
P: *after some silence and calming down* I know. *sniffs*
A: *waits a little for more but when she says nothing else, says-* Know what?
P: Oh, you know.
A: Enlighten me.
P: About your affair. *falters in her speech a little*
A: *looks worried* Which one?
P: Which one?!!!!!!!!!
A: *shamefaced* Oh, you only know of one?
P: *extremely dramatic- like, hand on forehead dramatic* Meh barbad hogeya!!! (I have become ruined!)
A: *now way too curious about what this is all about to play around* Areee, meri nautanki Fuggy! What are you on about?!
P: I found her.
A: You found who?
P: In the closet!!! *breaks down into another set of fake sobs*
A: *now actually quite scared, holds onto Pragya and looks towards the closet* Did you find a body in the closet?!!!
P: No, buddhu!!! I found her! *pulls out a doll from behind her pillow* You're cheating on Fuggy doll, aren't you?!!! *accusingly shakes this new doll in front of Abhi's face, frowning*
A: *breathes a sigh of relief and hugs Pragya* I let go of that Fuggy doll ever since I found my real Fuggy again. I didn't cheat on her- I broke up with her!
P: Then who is she?! *pointing at this new doll, still accusingly*
A: I forgot to show you when I bought it- I bought it for Bubbly and forgot to give it to her. I must have left it in the closet... Would you be able to give it to her later? I barely see her nowadays.
P: *face brightens up* Sure! *excited by the fact that this may be an excuse to play with Bunty and Bubbly later*
A: *observing her happy face, smiles to himself before quickly changing his face to an angry one* All this drama for this?! Do you know how worried I was?!
P: Well, I had to get my payback sometime or another for all your tricks you play on me everyday! Plus, it gave you taste of your own medicine! *laughing, proud of herself*
A: And what a bitter taste! I already experienced the bitter taste of losing you before *remembers kidnapping, Tanu-pregnancy-divorce track, Abhigya become solemn*. I felt that horror again today. *notices Pragya's sad face and becomes desperate to cheer her up* On the topic of dolls, I have to talk to you about something...
P: *a little surprised* Um, okay?
A: So I've let go of Fuggy doll and all- fully, 100% committed to you of course. Now what about you?
P: Me? *even more confused*
A: Yes, you. When are you breaking up with that RS doll? *serious*
P: *gets off bed dramatically* Khobordar, if you say anything about my relationship with him!
A: Areee! We're married now! And you know he's two timing you with Fuggy doll! You have to let go of him sometime-
P: Never! He's my boyfriend! What does it make me?! His girlfriend! Do you understand?! *storms towards closet where all the dolls are kept*
A: And who am I to you?! Aren't I your husband?! And you- my wife! *stands up to follow Pragya into the closet*
P: Sure. For now.
A: For now?!!! What does that mean?!!! Are you hiding something from me?! I'm throwing out that RS doll- into the pool! Do you hear me?!
And so continued their bickering. The tables had certainly turned... 😆
