Hello guys, so I have been off the radar for quite sometime. I have stopped watching KKB and wont tune in till this unbearable track is over. Which makes me infrequent to this forum nowadays, but I missed you guys too much, so KKB or no KKB, I am back with a drabble for you all. So the plot - alternate universe, Abhi just starting his career, climbing the ladder, hasn't become the top-notch rockstar yet.. AbhiGya are childhood besties and has just decided to date and give themselves a chance - so what happened then?
Infact I was wondering if this thread should be an open one! So keeping the backstory in mind, why don't we all write small drabbles on Abhigya where they just started dating, each drabble can talk about a small incident maybe? Wouldn't that be fun and also increase forum activity?

AbhiGya Drabble: Dating Chashmish
"Just look at where her hands are!! That is what is called being work friends?? That model friend of yours - Tanu. God she is such a s**t. Oh and you look very happy in that photo!! Grinning like a monkey. You never look that happy in photos with me!!" huffed Pragya in annoyance, as she scrolled through Abhi's photo tags on Facebook.
"Arre Chashmish, what can I do about it? Do you see my hands going haywire? I am sort of a star now, the more people I attract, the better my brand value is! Understand nah please and don't be mad at me. Now where were we?" begun Abhi with a husky voice as he slowly held her waist and gently brought his face close to hers, keeping a steady eye contact.
She looked back at him, with an equally steady gaze, and not to mention a certain childlike stubbornness as she replied, "We were looking for your hand that hasn't gone haywire in the picture. And guess what? Your hand is behind her, so we can't be sure, what its upto there"
"Aah, lets consider the possibilities on you then" he said quietly and smirked seeing her confused look.He slowly took traced the cloth on the waist and moved down till he reached the hem of the top. In one swift move his hand was under her top with his palm flat on the bare skin of her waist. He circled his fingers on her lower back and traced her spine gently. Pragya shivered in nervous anticipation, and she was overwhelmed with the new feelings that were arousing in her for her childhood best friend Abhi. True they only started dating a few weeks back, when Abhi came after winning the talent hunt he dreamt of winning all his life, and proposed to her with a soft toy of a rockstar, calling him his miniature that Pragya had to keep to remember him always - but dating hadn't changed their equation so far. They weren't ever the lovey-dovey couple she saw in parks and malls. But today was different, Abhi was different, and for some reason she was blushing seeing him.
"Ww"h-hat are you doing? All this is not d-dd-o-ne ok" she managed to stutter.
"Acha? Then why are you enjoying it huh?" he asked in the same deep voice, as he brought his face closer to hers. Her Ipad dropped from her hand and landed onto the bed, and she had no clue. Her eyes were on his, gazing at the longing way he was looking at her lips. She was very nervous, she wanted to run away from his room, but she had frozen too. So far in life, she never thought twice about running into his room and staying there with him for hours, but now things seem to have changed, she will think twice before entering this sinful heaven in the future.
"Abhi..woh..Abhi..no.." she thought she was incoherent to him, as she couldn't place the right words to explain what she wanted. She wanted this, but it didn't feel right as yet - too early. But why was she so tongue tied before him? She wondered.
Abhi looked at her eyes, and saw through the unsure yet captivated dilemma that was in her mind. He smiled. This could wait, he couldn't afford to make any mistakes with Chashmish - she was the one, he had known all his life. So instead, he pulled his hand out and shifted his face further brought his mouth closer to her ear. Se shut her eyes and held her breath. But he only spoke, ever so gently into her ears.
"I am happier when I am with you, but real happiness seldom reflects on the face and even seldom can be captured on camera. Just the heart feels warm and the other heart knows. Its personal, and deeply private. Not something that you can see out there next to a bunch of photos with the Tanu's and Meetu's of the world." A small smiled crept up her lips as she slowly opened her eyes, but he had left by then. Pragya smiled. This felt right. And far more fulfilling.
