Ekat kapoor is called the czarina of the indian television.She has achived great success in her carrer as a TV producer.She has really given some good stuff.

But now I think her Midas touch is lost .
Her plots like leaps ,constant separation of leads ,marrying them of to someone else(that someone will become evil and do stupid stuff so te leads can reunite again) is now being adopted by every TV producer and is now starting to irritate the audience .

She usually gains a huge audience in the start but two of her newly startd serials(IKNMP,PKHJD) had to be stopped even before 200 episodes and all her current serials (maybe except kalash) is under scanner.MATSH is wrapping up YHM and KKb have lost major chunk of fans due to the dragging of plots.

Its high time Ms.Kappor takes notice and starts to rethink something new to survive

PS:Her new serial Kasam too dosent look too promising with the plot of lost and fouund love

KB is safe for now.
my friend watches most of the shows u mentioned and she was grumbling to me about MATH and how it is going to end soon for tha last couple of months and as expected it's ending.

Now she is complaining about yhm. I think it's Yhm turn next. May be in a few months.

I actually don't mind KB ending too. Never agian I will watch a EK show even if shabir acts.
Well I started liking him so much after watching him in KB.

And yes, audience are not the same anymore. They are not taking crap.

Not sure about the fall, may be it is just a phase.

But I do not understand one thing, why all her shows have leads separation. Irrespective of their age group (young, middle age), married couples are almost never shown in a married way.

This is consistent across all the show (almost), and far from the reality. One of main reason I could not watch PKHJD, after 4 years in marriage, middle-aged leads have no relationship and their love story is shown same as young lovers.

Personally I find this pattern very unrealistic.

I watch KKB only for shabir/sriti and other casts members acting skill.

Well I don't know about other serials but Ekta's success rate for her serials starting with K is quite high... And all of them have done pretty well even with their crappy tract..

I think K is superstitious for her so I don't think KKb isn't gonna end too soon.. It 'll run for another year for sure...

Well for the past week I have seen over various sites , ppl are thinking and saying that kkb is ending soon.. They might have said this in regarding to other EK shows going off air..

So fingers crossed..

Yes I for sure don't want KKB to end soon. After Tanu's track ends I want to see Abhigaya's life from there on. From the beginning to where they have kids.

Naagin, Kumkum Bhagya and YHM are doing well na? If these shows end, EK will come up with new ones. Every show has its days. I don't think EK is really losing out on much. The show fans might when their shows go down.

As per KB, there is a lot left to show!

Ekta Kapoor has been successful for a long time. I can't see her go on for ever. Her themes of family and marriage are getting too old. And audience tastes are changing a lot. So definitely lack of creativity and she's not taking risks with new plots.

About KKB, CV's are creating huge problems by just focusing on just Abhi and Pragya. Parallel leads have no role now. Story is too concentrated on just main leads and vamp, but there's nothing happy about the leads. Building episodes will become a problem if they want to focus on their separation of leads.

Exactly... Atleast they can show both the leads facing the problems together.. And fighting the enemy together... No need to show romance all the time but they can atleast show them facing the problems together..

I don't think it is the fall of Ekta,she has created some fantastic show and still creating good shows, i think the problem is she give her creative team too much libertity and freedom with the tracks.

more emphasis needs to be place on the side actors and second lead.

Too much negativity and hardly any resolution. We see this problem in all of her shows.

She is loosing touch with her audience and what makes them tick.

YHM and KKB are actually doing quite good. KKB is number 1 on Zee and YHM is 2nd in Star Plus. And Naaginn is number 1 among all channels. So I don't know what you mean about the drop in numbers.

About INKNMP and PKHJD, the reason why they failed is because they are on Sony. Period. And even though INKNMP was the same mature love story concept( was a bit different because they showed them divorced), PKHJD was quite different than what Ekta usually shows. The couple in that show were much more mature and the show also quite beautifully tackled the subject of terrorism. But, it still didn't do well.

Just see the other shows that are topping the TRP charts. Sasural Simar Ka, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, and etc. They have similar concepts to most Ekta shows.

Yes, it would be nice if Ekta didnt introduce draggy tracks. And it would be nice for her to have more quality content. But she is businesswoman first, and will only have shows that reflect what the audience wants. And looking at the TRP charts, it doesn't seem like Ekta's content is going to change any time soon.
