Why not, though? Characters are dictated by the story/plot and story/plot gets dictated by actors/actresses career aspirations. Soaps especially are subject to this pressure because of their long duration, na? I do feel twists, turns, and sudden developments in shows are due to such personal decisions by the cast.

My guess with Mrunal decision to leave (if that's true) has forced writers to come up with this deadline ultimatum and whatever drama that's going to bring. But I still don't get why they have to kill her. They could have easily replaced BB character with another actor. Poor Purab!

I do not have an issue with Pragya lying to her mum actually, it's an indian soap one can expect such things plus if her health is sooo detoriating Bulbul is welcome to tell as Pragya did give her the option as she said to her from my side it's a no but you are grown up now, I leave the decision upto you. So I don't see why Pragya should be accountable for this. Alas we see things differently, there's no harm in that and I made my point...

Before commenting about this topic I would like to clear that I am NOT a supporter of pragya's mother India acts.. Because certain things which she does are not at all needed for achieving the "mission".. Anyway keeping these things aside, it was always shown as to how pragya cares for her mother and her health though nothing happens to Sarla when needed.. Pragya was continuing the "fake" marriage mainly for her "ma".. But the same pragya is now doing these things eventhough her ma is in the same state.. may be mainly because of the promise she made to dadi and her love for her hubby.. Because she is not shown as the one who would risk her mother's life ever.. Now she is not shown expressing that much concern but she did feel bad when had encounters with sarla and even recently during karwachauth..

i feel terrible on imagining bb's death 😭 my dream of seeing purab and bb's wedding remained as a dream.. They could have shown bb and purab somehow getting married and because of this, mad aaliya arranges for an accident when both are out together after marriage.. In this way they could have ended both bb and purab's character

So what I felt was.. Dadi and bb are those who are making her to put up this act.. Pragya herself was not doing.. So when bb feels this much bad seeing her ma in this state then she should also understand that how difficult it would be for pragya to do all these things..! These two are not even allowing pragya to keep one vrat.. But feels concerned about Sarla.. I don't know why pragya feels sarla shouldn't be informed about their plan.. But if bb is so concerned then instead of fighting with purab and pragya she should go and convince dadi who is the main culprit behind all the sh*t happening.. So that she can either convince pragya to say the truth to Sarla or release her from the so called vada she has got..

I don't think Daadi will have any right to ask Pragya to hurt her mother. I didn't see any scene discussing the same. Pragya could have sent Sarla Maa on an extended piligrimage so that she stays out of it. If Pragya is a person anyone can walk over like this, tomorrow another girl in Abhi's life comes and says something and she will leave Abhi again!

I agree Pragya feels bad about hurting her Maa.. but is she so helpless?😕

Well ..had pragya been so independent to decide what she wants then she would have stopped doing as per dadi and bb's advice long back 😆 but she still continues..so it's understood that she is under dadi's control and she will continue to do what dadi says..the only time I found pragya acting as per her wish was during the "convice everyone by indirect emotional blackmailing" during tanu pregnancy revelation and tanu and abhi marriage.. that's the only time she was clear about her motive of being the matchmaker for tanu and abhi for "baccha's sake" ..rest of the time it is either due to her ma or due to dadi..

Oh yeah that MMS thing... I just could not tolerate her helplessness and then she disrespected herself too..
