Can the plot get any more redundant? "Kumkum Bhagya" can easily serve as a guide on how to mistreat daughter-in-laws. After all her trauma and near death experiences, Pragya (Sriti Jha) will get kidnapped. Of course she has been kidnapped a dozen times before, but the makers seem to love this plot and, hence, have decided to revisit it again with a twist.
During Ganesh puja, Aaliya (Shikha Singh), Tanu (Leena Jumani) and Raj (Annuraag Sharrma) will get Pragya kidnapped. Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) will see the love of his life being abducted by goons and will try to rescue her. Unfortunately, he will not be able to save her.
Now this is a similar scene to the last time Pragya got kidnapped. To make the situation much worse and complicated, the goons will now rape Pragya to teach her a lesson. This will apparently happen on Aaliya and Tanu's insistence. Frankly, such tracks should never exist in Indian daily soaps, but the makers will do just about anything to maintain TRPs.
From what we hear, Pragya, who came back in a new avatar to show Abhi his family's true colors, will be left speechless when this incident happens to her. Bulbul (Mrunal Thakur) will also be threatened to stay away from Purab (Arjit Taneja), or her self-respect will be shredded to bits like her sister.
Will Pragya ever emerge from this situation? Will Abhi bring back his old Pragya? Will the couple ever be able to come back together?
Guess we'll soon find out.
