just, i happened to re-read a very old post on the forum today, from when the show only had 4 episodes, and it went on and on about KKB's sense and sensibility roots...and this sudden flash of thought of abhi dressed as a regency gentleman but desi style just made me ☺️


although i think this style of waistcoast is closer to victorian/edwardian BUT WHATEVERRR

prani heheee i'm like sixteen kinds of nerd. darcy/austen would be regency period but i confess i only have the haziest idea of the differences of men's clothing from regency (early 1800s) to victorian (1860s onwards) to edwardian (early 1900s)...but pretty sure they all involved waistcoasts??? so abhi can be whatever/all 😆

yes thank god, a reprieve from the tacky outlandish t-shirts (i will never forgive CVs for having him wear the shell print shirt for the pragya-leaving episodes)!! but only for festivals, i think you're right. we'll see him back in his regular stuff after diwali perhaps.

we are coming up on anniversary of MMS stuff, omg!!! still the most painful, dark period of KKB imo. worth commemorating for that alone? we shall seee


i want to talk to you guys lucidly and intelligently about the episode but basically i'm a crocodile and i need to sleep. so will catch up later...and please know even though i don't manage to participate in some of the real conversations here i'm always really fascinated and satisfied to read the thoughtful analyses!!
