From EK - Ekta's first show Hum Paach to...her famous characters like Tulsi...Parvati...Anjali...Gauri...Kusum...Prachi...Bani...etc etc...the Heroines were the ones around which everything revolved ...but this is the first show...in which all revolves around...the Hero...

I wondered about that too. Typically serial heroines dominate the story and screen. KKB is different at least till now. A rockstar as a male lead with a lot of dance sequences and fan following. And to have a female lead who's not your ordinary bahu/patni running the household. Both are deviation from the norm??

I feel this show has something to do with enhancing Bollywood/big screen opportunities for the lead characters. There was an article on small screen heros and who they looked like among Bollywood actors. Shabbir was compared to Salman Khan. The way he dresses, talks, and gestures. This is a very different type of role for Shabbir (a villain in the past). I feel he's being groomed for either future Ekta's productions or others. The hope is that if he gains popularity on TV for romance/hero, it'll get accepted on big screen.

Even me and my Room mate used to discuss again and again about this...

My room mate will watch almost all Hindi Serials and used to tell that, all the Serials are giving importance to Female Leads.. Male Leads are all side characters.. But KKB is different.. Before Tanu's pregnancy track, I feel like all the characters in KKB have their own direction and importance... But after Pregnancy track I feel like it is biased..

And when come to Shabir and Sriti, when compared to their other soaps I feel like they have a lot of opportunities in KKB to portray their Talents.. And it's no doubt they are doing a Mind Blowing job here...

"How can you starve us and eat such nice food yourself" followed immediately by "what can I do that I get to eat and she starves" pretty much encapsulates my frustration with how Abhi is written much of the time -_-

Also Prags taking soppy satisfaction into feeding him by deceit is not really something I enjoy. LIKE PLS. Childishness is good sometimes but in this I wish they would just be grown ups and solve things

It's very simple. Abhi cannot do wrong. If he does something wrong the reason is" he is human "or "it's pragya s fault directly or indirectly".
It's only Pragya for whom people have high expectations and she will be criticized for every lil mistake.

The saying " A Woman is a Woman's worst Enemy" holds true here...as my male cousin was like the guy is an ass...why is she even with him...😆

For everyone who has been a part of the conversation in the last few pages, please let's keep talking. It's just we should concentrate on the characters going forward. Hope no one is discouraged from posting here. There's still lots we can say about our leads without getting into the problem of what others think.

KKB has a way of mixing comedy into these serious situations but the break-up of the scene created a weird lack of continuity that messed it up for me. In any case RS is clearly not ready to deal with this - either it's his "decision avoidance" trait flaring up or his value as the proverbial "get out of jail free" card for CVs aka demigod of KKB! RS (or Pragya's toofan 😆) is having so many near-misses with Pragya's truth that I'm starting to think that there's a chance he is playing Pragya.

Finally the food scene - more "ambiguous" worded games.😕

Seeing these two face off against each other has always been one of my KKB wishes (would love for them to bond with each ...even if it's an uneasy bhabhi-nanand relationship ...if only). Not quite sure how Pragya "the owner" (&Abhi) will believe that Aalu had nothing to with the CD's disappearance. Wait and watch I guess

And finally Rabul

Such a strange conversation with so much foreshadowing. Purab's "Maa ka, behen ka aur mera bharosa nahin thod sakthi ho" comment. First time around it was Purvi, now it feels like Bulbul will be the collateral damage with this round vs Aalu

So the RS's music is the target for Aaliyah - well she wants the money for now but I expect she realizes that she can get so much more for it - his music as proxy for RS.

Now, why is the RS all on his own making a decision (which in itself is a miracle!!) to use his music as a tool in this fight against Pragya (for now or so he says)? The RS made a "big-boy" decision all on his own to use his music as bait...why? He says money but he had so many other options. Any ideas?

Well, what else does he have, right?😊 Pragya owns everything else. His music is the only asset he has to make money. He's starting his own music company.😉

He made 2 versions of his scratch music. He''s keeping the best music for himself/Purab to make a lot of money (of course without Pragya knowing) . And gives the not-so-good music Pragya so that the profits aren't as good. I think that's the cd Pragya gave Aliya.

My understanding is that he's not trying to bait Pragya. He's planning to fight her in court. Pragya and BB are trying to bait Aliya. We know that won't happen but I'm curious who'll get blamed.
