Was Sarla mom right for slapping Abhi?

Don't know whether there's a poll already but I just want to see what side the majority of the forum is on as the topic has become a controversy on here.

Personally, if I was a mother, hearing what my daamad has done, would have strangled the guy. But I'm not, so I'm debating both ways.

Slap ok with me..

But some lines like no mom should have a child like him ..I dint like them..

Slap was expected and not shocking at all... what I did not like was some of her dialogues about his upbringing, saying he does not know what Maa is etc.

He has done a lot for her and he has no Maa. So that was rubbing it way too much.

And Pragya told Sarla Maa Tannu getting pregnant was a unconscious mistake... so...Sarla Maa;s reactions were OTT.

Slap is too much cox i dont think slapping your son in law is right..no matter what...so is slapping your daughter in law (dasi's slap)

what she said i think was not too much...
Abhi actually does not know anything about husband n wife relation..does not believe in God so the value of a relation ppl makes in front of God makes no sense to him...he does not know how a husband should treat his wife cox he never seen his dad doing so or anyone...

^^ i m not saying no knowing is his fault ...i m just stating a fact...when ppl dont have something in their life (love,money,companion,friend) they hv two choices 1. learn how to live without it n pretend they do not matter ( abhi) 2. think n wish for it n work really hard until you get it (purab)
both r right on their places...
question on his upbringing will rise cox he did have an affair n premarital sex with tanu...our religion ,culture does not give us that permission ..

And does not matter what pragya told Sarla..everyone knew about Tabhi..they just needed confirmation ..now it does look like they had this ''relation'' from day one..
i loved the epi (minus the slap)

Toni, you think Sarla Maa believed Abhi would be a virgin before marriage? BB and Rockstar Daadi once discuss TaBhi's affair as fans! Sarla Maa had no idea or what when she got her daughter married to him? It was risky of them to send their middle class modest daughter off to a celeb guy's home while she was apprehensive too.

Wonder which era they are living in.

I disagree with this God, not knowing how to treat a wife thing. He was not meaning to treat Pragya well consciously. It's not that he does not know how to treat a wife but he did not consider her his wife.. Let's see how he treats her once all is well. He wont get lessons from a father figure hmm?

Toni , abhi dint know how to treat a wife ? He dint want to treat her as his wife..

When he kneew the reality his behaviour his behaviour changed gradually and now he loves and adores her beyond.

People see the past and say abhi is the worst husnand any girl could get and I see the future ( I am delusional , crazy etc 😆 ) and think he would be the best husband for any girl..

I dint like calling him a bad son ..
He was a bad husnand may be not a bad son in law

Her slap is right when it comes to that she hurted her child, her daughter, she loved her and cared her, she wished that her child live with someone happily, when it all was oasis to her, she slapped him.

But it was wrong, when we think about he done somany things for them, eventhough he hates pragya, so i am confused overall

why would someone marry someone n wont give her the right or value her as wife..cox

he wanted revange fine there is so many other ways to do it... like he did to suresh..abhi did not marry suresh 😆yes he is hairy guy but the point is using something like marriage as way of getting back to someone says God ,society sanskar means nothing to u bas..

What i have seen so far...Abhi is a great lover but husband he is not.great son but son in law he is not.
pragya Good daughter yes Good bahu she is not. Good wife yes good lover she is not.
may b it will change in the future ..

He doesn't hate Prags anymore otherwise he wouldn't take a bullet for her. And all he did "for her" even previously were on the account of other excuses. Like RD not wanting marriage hall to suffer. He did it for her, supposedly, because he couldn't stand tears in her eyes as he loves all daadis. Not disagreeing mostly, explaining.
